    Hey guys. moved to Mumbai India and have been here for around 3 months now. Having to make way with public transport for the first few months, i found it is damn slow and took 45min to to 10km hence the millions of people in this small city. then i started noticing the delivery guys are moving way faster with there bull horn single speed 20kg steel bikes. i wanted to bring my bike(s) over to ride but was unsure about the cycling culture here. i quickly found china carbon and the odd medone is a useual commuter bike here. so i bought a R3500 hybrid 650b 1.7inch tyres deep section alloy wheels Montra bike. and what a beauty of a bike. then with my first commute to work and back i realized my years of mrb riding came in hand as dodging tuk tuk's and no traffic control made me jump turn and stop real quick. but in all this madness my commute got reduced to a 20min 35degree commute and massive traffic dodging smile on my face. pics to follow.

    yes they will make money at franchise level or even just at that tournament. with semi pro cricket that is going to be dropped the money will be less than it currently is. their is only so much spots in franchise ans protea level and sadly only a hand full will get a chance. the young guys with talent will still look to go play overseas as the will be selected for their ability. there are more boys getting contracts at school level to go abroad than franchise players get.

    sorry let me rephrase that. all the top selling bikes mentioned in this thread. putting Mercer and back yard builds in comparison here is like putting Zuma in the UN meetings.

    show me a brand that does not come from china land... anyway way to much hate for local brand here. looks like the speznaz and cannondonkie guys like to spend a lot of money on a lot of BS marketing hype. anyway awesome bikes awesome okes and for a young brand like they are i am sure a lot of great bikes will come from them. love to see price comparison on this bikes specs vs the rest.

    those damn freaking leg hair. damn guys. if you don't get payed to ride at least looking good trying. socks make the kit. its fun. that is why we all don't have cheap paint jobs on our bikes. but please what ever socks you wear make sure the legs are shaved. it.just.looks.better.

    His 25mil contract spans over two years for the ipl team so he kinda has to go over to play. he is a brand by himself and has a family to look after so he will want to make more money at every opportunity like we do everyday we go to work. his job just pays well for the player he is. he also has created a number of jobs with his money for his family and friends. regarding fitness. there is a big difference between a 3 hour t20 and a 5 day test match for a guy who has always been suffering from back pain. the elbow is just a flash in the pan. and i honestly think there is more worry for the guys in the team than ab coming back. imagine you are the best middle order bat but cant get selected because of quotas. ab is the last worry here.a lot of great players had to do this if the rock stars was playing this goes down all the way to provincial level.

    i dont think there is a lot of cherry picking. when england toured here he already said he is looking at retiring from the longer format. hid deal in india is for his new kit sponsor witch is around 5mil a year. as for many other great stars of the game who only play in the shorter format is only because they have played (enough) or has had a very successful career till date. the ipl is 6weeks awat from home as to the protea 6 months to some years even 8. i think he as human and player that he is can pick what format he wants to play as he has worked hard and earned the right to do so. its not like he has anything to proof.

    from my side there are young guys not being selected for local provincial sides that went to the uk to play there. a couple of them has been signed by the top teams their and earn close to what AB earns for his protea contract. why would you spend six month away from home to get payed the same as a county player where you could get pay 19-25 bar for 6 weeks of work on merit. their are also "other" player not making tour selection getting payed more than guys currently on the field. yes you play for the love of the country or badge, but if that badge does not play for you then you have to look after yourself and your profession. this is why a lot of young and now senior players are going missing. there are a few more kolpack signings coming.
