  1. Id say 29 but might wait and see maybe a 27half may be a good dual option
  2. I just recently started MTB( 4 months ago) and did 7 races already .Love it no doubt . First bike 26 " HT and not a bad one at all , but I did the 70km on the weekend and really felt the kidneys at the end. I am thinking about what I would buy when I upgrade and although I understand a 29 er might be more forgiving then a 26 " HT, I feel that maybe a dual will be the best all round in the long term. I like the longer 50-70km races and will def be doing some stage races in future, but I also dont want a bike that that will be difficult to handle if I tackle a technical session. My current HT is 13.3 kg so already on the heavy side and I can certainly get a good dual for less then 12kg which is already an improvement as well. Some comments will be appreciated..............

  4. Everything else was well organised but the bottleneck at the beginning and the end could have been avoided ..............added 15 min at least to my time The thing is they could haev easily pciked another route with no bottleneck

  6. No carbo loading I have the latest techno on my cycle ..............nitro boost gas cannons with a twin turbo shifter and xxx DERAILERS should be no need for carbs .........o and 29 inch at the back and 650b at the front so downhill all the way bring it on:)
  7. I will leave a box at the entrance on SAT then you can all leave youre SPIKE and SOCKS in it for me to sell it back to USN/Nissan ready for the next race goodie bags .............
  8. its how you do it , Put the socks on drink the "spike " get on your bike and you will see .................any other way it wont work

  10. For a best ALL round bike for marathon( 50-70km) , stage race I think 650b will be perfect . I only started riding a few months ago on a 26 " so I dont know the 29ers but reading all the forums it might be the best ALL ROUNDER
