    Started in BL, an enjoyable race and tough in both directions as said. Marshaling was quite good. However I don't get the added safety of reversing the route. I can only assume that a number of drivers were frustrated with the change.

    Still available on the app though? Are you saying they don't take the vouchers in-store?

    Have always left my bike in the bike park at the DC, never had any issues. Access to the bike park is controlled and the bike removal is also checked. Unless you put your bike in a car or use a strong padlock, I would not leave my bike on a trailer at these large events. Going to be difficult to have lunch after the race while moving around with your bike.

    Anyone notice that the R100 PnP voucher has been removed from the 100 points option? Don't know if this was mentioned before.

    Ah yes, I rode in the BSSS events (unfortunately not riding tomorrow). I've actually been trying to get info about the BSSS Crit around Swartkops. I do enjoy the hard style of Crits, but it is not everyone's flavour. Either way, have a good one. I think we share the same valley and maybe the same bike (GT?).

    All fair points, there is a history of Crit racing in SA. However take into account that the Helivac series was not continued this year (for whatever reason). The Melrose event that Moses tried to put together was cancelled unfortunately. When was the BSSS event held this year? I wanted to enter a corp team for the event, however was also told that the corporate race was scrapped due to lack of interest. So I do feel your pain. 480 is not bad, but I don't expect all 480 to be on the same level (fitness and bike handling). I also didn't know that this event was held last year. I'll still go and see what can be salvaged.

    Why not put together a team of stragglers (as someone mentioned before)? I am sure we can get a team together. Buy in beforehand, deposit entry fee into a communal account and the chosen captain enters the team. Get some shirts made, can decide to stay together or not and bob's your uncle.
