You should consider 'Infinit' drink. Distributed by Triangle Sports (Ironman SA). You can custom blend it to suit your requirements and contains all the calories, protein, etc that you need so there's no need for any gels or bars. Been using it for a while now and doing the Half IM on it and probably the full. Helps to take the guessing game out of nutrition

It does, but your specified all risks doesn't cover your bike while racing - only training.

All, except for 1 of my dealings on the Hub have been a pleasure. There are so many great hubbers out there, this thread could go on for ages. a thought may be to start a thread of who to watch out for - like a blacklist. Still need to upgrade the wheels. Thanks to: Triangle Sports in PE for the excellent deal on the Frameset, Bars and build Matchstix and CWC for superb prices and service and the parts.

I might be able to help you with a charger... the X4 use 2x series Li-ion... needs a charger that cuts off at 8.4v. The std charger uses current limiting to charge 3/4 of the capacity and then changes to voltage limiting to reach the full voltage... The special is only valid for stays during this month, BUT the price won't go up by too much after that. We're trying to keep the room rate to below R500 if we can!
