  1. Thanks for the heads up on the Turner, Crow
  2. No issues with Greg at all. I have issues waiting 6 months for a derailleur hanger. Or an "Approved Shop" replacing bearings with substandard ones & dinging the frame in the process.
  3. Yeah, but I'm not spending that money PLUS 4k on a new dropper. Looks like it will be a hard tail then.
  4. Alu SB66's are going for 30K as per MSC & Greg (CPT Yeti). Not keen on Yeti at the moment. My ASR5 is a maintenance pain in the arse & I don't see the SB66 any better. Also local support is not all that great POST sale.
  5. Think Commencal seat tubes are 31.6. Otherwise Cotic BFe. Money saved on the frame can go towards a new dropper. Not too keen on going hard tail though
  6. Family issues with the Jabula. Need a new frame as I need & want the warranty. Shimming a dropper yells additional creaking. Or not?
  7. Hi Guys, Need some help/pointers on a new frame. Requirements: Under R20k Up to 160mm travel 67 HA or less 30.9 seatpost diameter 26" wheels Local support I'm not allowed a Jabula. Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions?
  8. Doing so with aplomb
  9. Not really feasible for the Jhb folk
  10. Will lend a hand when/where needed
  11. Missed out the best one: Oom Piets
  12. Someone else who might be of assistance is Hylton Turvey. The trails at Karkloof are super fun & flowing. Fun for most types of riders. Also noticed they built proper drainage where needed. Good luck in any case!

    DH Rims

A fellow Hubber tried to sell his Cotic BFe a while back (User = Edu). Had Sun Ringle MTX33's. Those wheels looked bomb proof & have hardly been used. Maybe give the oke a shout? He is in Jhb though
  14. Agreed!

  16. Just that one time...
  17. Does anyone in Jhb/Pta need a lift down?
  18. With the size of those rooms it might just be the same thing. Two per room might be a better idea.
  19. Do yourself a favor & arrange a room for everyone in the group. Unless of course you're keen on a sausage fest
  20. Father was referring to the shifter. RIP
  21. Some guys spend their entire lives trying to find it
