Here is some info Best of Kilo-Racers can produce well over 1.000 watt about 1 minute. That means 1.8000 - 2.000 watt at the (standing) start and a going-out with 1.000 watt at the finish line. The mark for track-sprinters is the 6-sec-maximum-test. Worlds elite can produce a power of 26 watt per kilo bodyweight. The former elite-sprinter and kiloracer, German Sören Lausberg, was tested with 2.600 watt about 6 seconds (bodyweight 100kg).

Wonder what is his power output? Watt max and sustained?

Check your derailer pulleys. Excessive wear on your pulleys could influence shifting

My 10c I run XT 3 x 9 1 casette and 3 chains = around 3,000km. Also use the Park Tool chain guage. I do chainge my chain before the guage tells me so. (That is important) 1 x Dullstroom and 1 x Sabie races do have an influence. (Muddy affairs) I'm now on my 3rd chain with > 3,000km and it is time to replace casette,chain and possibly my middle chain ring.

Logoland is much better in summer, but still great fun

The York Enduro format was great. Many people, many hours to prepare track/trails. With XC track, Timed stages, downhill (x6) and hill climb (x2), 40km half marathon distance and Eliminator. Not many venues offer all these disciplines. Maybe Cascades?

There was also two timed hill climbs. Visit trailtag.co.za

Had the York Enduro event last week with all formats. Only corporate entries.
