Not refuting that link in particular, and as mentioned in an earlier post I made this morning, the prime reason I have never liked the word Xmas is that I feel it to be disrespectful. In fact, I find that link rather interesting and informative. However, I will continue to stand up for my beliefs, and not abbreviate the word Christmas. The question posed by Dangle was related to Wiki in general, or so I interpreted it, and it is to that which I responded.

Given the fact that any man on the street, including some of our "super hubbers" can contribute to Wiki, only having to state "citation needed" in order to disqualify any profoundly inaccurate facts, would give your question a big fat NO!

I have never thought it was introduced by anti-Christians, just felt no need to abbreviate the word Christ, as I too deem it to be disrespectful - personal opinion. Why do we feel the need to do so in the word Christmas, yet in your statement above you don't abbreviate the word Christian to "Xian"? Anyway, no mud slinging contest here. I hope come Saturday, you all have a wonderful and blessed Christmas, whether you're on your bike or not.

I realise that this is a "strictly cycling only" forum, but having recently started using the Nike+ running system, I was wondering whether or not anyone else has used it and what their (your) thoughts are. BTW - it gets a rave from me. I'm really digging it

I find the Cyclemeter app for iPhone works best for me. Just about gives all you're looking for, other than HR.

Ingwe Bush Camp - You ride past it on the Breedtsnek route, just after the first major turn bend to the left. http://www.ingwebushcamp.com/ Never ridden there myself, but have checked out there website, and apparently there are some decent climbs up to the towers, etc. All whilst you're amongst the game. So, I reckon that could be a good spot. If all else fails, you could cycle from there, up and over Breedtsnek.
