  1. I've had a couple of items on the hub to be sold. Some people never reply and even if you send msgs or phone...ikona... no response...so i would say that if the buyer is really interested make arrangements to meet same night or eft money asap. If you are really interested don't think to long because it will be gone even if you used dips....CASH has always been KING O yes....Please rate the guys man.... Gives you confidence to buy from him again

  3. Can get the trails at 1700g for R4950 With 110 kg rider limit and the dragons at 1610g for R 5495 with 100 kg rider limit
  4. Have to add that i weigh 90kg but working on it. Holiday munchies got hold of me! Keep rider limit in mind.
  5. Hi Hubbers Novatec flow trail vs Dragons 29er wheels What are you views on these wheels compared to Stanz Crest or arch and Easton ec90 and 70. Not really want to spend more than 6k but should be Lighter than my syncross wheels Which are Bang for your buck! Thanks
  6. Had the same issue with mine as well. The hole shock screw apart by hand and the seals are really very easy to replace as well. I took the gamble and did it myself but my feeling on the matter is that the lockout is where my problem lies. Since removing my lockout and not using it the shock kept air up till today and it has been almost 3 months without having to check pressures.

  8. I looked at spesialized camber fs for 21k. The groupset is not that hot but if you have 25 to spend i am sure you can upgrade the parts you wish for the rest of the budget. You will not be able to do everything but it can work unless you are not a spez fan.
  9. What was the cost if I may ask?
  10. Gooday gents Dt swiss has become a bit of a sear word in my book! My rear shock is leaking air second to non! Last night went for 45 kilo ride! Inflated the shock fairly hard because its flat dirt road, got home and hit the drive way like any otheer night! Shock is 3/4 way compressed inward! Normaly inflate it 1.8 bar or 180 psi like book said! Took to local lbs, could not find any issues BUT is the problem persist I need to take it back to be sent to Joburg!!!! No agents in cape town any more! Any advice on the matter? DiY? Thanks
  11. Thanks tank and beesrib, I seached thru the forums and could not find anything I service our bike myself, have mostly all the tools so in that regard i am sorted
  12. HI hubbers It seems there are a few guys who are in desperate need of some guidance in regards to some technical things, setup, pressures, and the does and donts of K2C I for a fact would like some pointers I am doing this one for the first time with my better half Thanks to all See you there
  13. Look what happened to some of the Bulls Players who use protine you can buy of the shelf at dischem......banned substances found there as well. Suppose that anything you take orally needs to be looked at now a days!!!! I reckon depending on the amount found in his blood, give the guy a 12 month ban. At this point in time drunk driving is taking more lives than doping cyclists and even they get a second chance after 6 moths
  14. This is my baby
  15. If you want to go this route give me a call. I might be able to make you one just like mine but only for the new shape
  16. I really had enough at that stage. Chris senior then promised me he will deliver the wheels to my house that evening. If they did not get the wheels from the agents or if they had a problem to deliver it to me I do not know, I received no message or call. I waited until just before 21h00 before canceling the order and ask for a refund. first post
  17. My 2 cents..... I saw shocks on special a while back. Phoned the shop and made sure that they keep it because i am on my way to cape town to pick it up. When walking in the door i asked for the salesman with whom i spoke........"sorry sir but your shock has been sold" Obviously i was furious.......BUT, and there is always a but! They gave me a more expensive fork for the same price. You see when a company does that i would spend money there again. There are always 3 sides to a story and yes somebody had to take charge of the situation in regards to the rims. If this was my bike shop i would get into my car(being the owner) drive to omnico and see what can be done and handle it face to face so that my customer does not have to have a reason for venting on the hub and the suplier would definitely not screw me around. Customer is king no matter what you sell and when a customer is happy he will always come back..... A while back a buddy told me a story of this guy who walked into his shop every Saturday and asked a lot of questions about bikes and parts and what not.....so after a couple of saturdays he became gatfol of making small talk and the guy never buy s anything.....The mechanic steped in after the oak had left and spoke to my buddy and told him ....BE NICE TO THAT MAN BECAUSE THERE WILL COME A DAY WERE HE WIL WALK IN HERE AND SPEND ALL HIS MONEY ON ONE SALE AND MAKE UP FOR ALL THE SMALL TALK SATURDAYS....... What happened 1 month later he poped in and bought a carbon cannondale full suspension 100k x2 with all the best kit you could think of. Morrel of the story... customer is king so look after them and make a effort to satisfy his needs. You never know what he wil spend the next day. Thanks
  18. I have a scott spark 940 29er and my lenth is 1.78m,was spect for a medium bike! My seatpost is extended all the way to its end with my legs bent 25 degrees! Basically its spot on! If I would have taken a large bike I would have sat into the frame a lot more but my handling would have been a lot worse so I reakon my Decision in taking a medium helps me handle the bike better and It does'nt mak me feel unstable when the twisties come along!
