  1. Morning Guys Iam looking for a Shimano Sora 9speed shifter for a road bike. Please whatsapp 0823012907 Thanks
  2. I might have an complete set front and back if you. Not sure if its working
  3. Thanks for the help guys. I am aware of that one but its a 100mm and iam looking for a 90mm opi stem . The Leonardi stem you can get in 95mm or 100mm and more.
  4. Hi Guys Sorry for this not being related to any forks and fork upgrades but can anybody shed some light as to where i can find a -15 degree 90 mm OPI stem. I've tried all avenues with regards to converting to SI stem system but that is something like 3k and to find an OPI stem with my preferences is scares as hens teeth... I've also looked at trying to convert from si or opi to a normal conventional stem..... Also reading up on some of the other forums overseas, the guys are also hunting these things down. By the sound of it the opi system is being discontinued and that is why we can buy so many opi system bikes on the hub at the moment. other than looking for the new model! I would appreciate it someone can point me in a direction...I would like to buy a solution because i love my bike and would like to keep it. Thanks
  5. Foam pit or trampoline will be your best bet. Start off with doing this first and then use a frame and try it on a trampoline and then one day have a bowl of courage in the morning and then commit hahaha
  6. Hi Guys I'am not posting pics but have a technical question on the dales..Will a 156 q factor xx crank with a direct mount chainring fit on a hardtail flash large 29er. 2013 model Advice will be appreciated Thanks
  7. Phenom is the best but i have to say i bought a power saddle and from the first minute of riding i loved it. No more shifting front and back and my rear is planted in one spot all the time. Also it being shorter it does not hook on your bib....
  8. 40km with 1500m of climbing.....if its hot on Sunday it will be a tough race!
  9. My first one...Can not wait !!!
  10. Romulus....my advice....Go shimano XT! They are trustworthy easy to maintain and spares are easy to source.
  11. Boom !!! R22500 for eagle xx1 http://bikemob.co.za/product/sram-xx1-eagle-groupset/
  12. 10 year 0.5mm vinyl will be you answer. I've basically changed my complete paint scheme on my bike and it's been holding up in sun, frequent washing with clean green oil and sweat. It's cheap as chips and with some designs and someone who can cut the vinyl in shapes that you like i don't see any problems. Bonus is that when you are gatvol you tear them off and move ons to a better colour hahah my 2cents
  13. Hi Gents Any baggy's that has a bib type insert that can be removed. Also the shorts tend to move around and the chamois also hence my question ? Looking forward to you advice on the matter Cheers
  14. Bought this little jobby. A bit pricey to my liking but works great!!!
  15. I have one that i want to sell or swop for a normal conventional direct mount ring with 6 mm offset 32t . The oval is also 32t
  16. This is what he he had on the bike... It was hanging loose at the time...
  17. Morning Gents Yesterday after finishing my ride at Meerendal on my way home we came across a guy who had half his face ripped open to the point where you could see bare bone and sinuses .... Skin kept his cheek meat on his face.....NOT JOKING He was a real trooper for carrying on trying to get home while half his face was ripped open but, we stopped him, called his wife and organised a lift with a fellow cyclist on his way out with his bakkie and got him to Durbanville mediclinic... The Elderly gentleman with whom i chatted on the way out took control of the situation as i don't have the stomach for stuff like that. My Question is : How safe do you think it is to ride a Gopro camera type jobby on you handle bar??? The camera units all have mountings and brackets standing out with levers and tightening screws protruding which can easily hurt you if something had to happen. Even brake levers and handlebars have been known to go through limbs coming off your bike... The only way this guy could have sustained a facial would like that is if his face hit the handle bar mount or the camera... He claims to have gone through a corner and and fell! Thanks to everyone getting this guy to safety and for everyone's input... Speedy recovery Bud!!
  18. I Also purchased a absolute black oval 32t about 5 months ago. On the flats the feeling of almost having a bigger gear is there and then on the climbs it feels lighter. I have alternated between both oval and conventional rings but some days i would prefer my conventional ring as it feels like its some what leaner on the legs for longer rides. almost if your spinning a bit more and saving energy... I can say that a oval ring does make your legs a hell of a lost stronger.....!!!! Its most probably total bull but that my 2cents hahahah (running 1x11 on hardtail flash)
  19. Hahahaha I'll take one tonight and post it tomorrow
  20. After some vinyl, wheel rebuilds and some TLC!!!!
