  1. Thanks, You should see the engine ????nah just kidding rode 94.7 mtb with it today and I must say it corners like a dream, can't wait to hit a few local segments with it. Proof is in the KOM's!????
  2. I've had my baby for 2 years now and I believe I have posted it here before but it deserves a time to shine again because without the help of a few people this beauty would've been sold. Thanks to the Oom's who gave me the wheels. Thanks to Spoke works for a great wheel build. Thanks to Kalbo for yet another amazing chainring. Thanks to Hotspot Cycles for helping me sorting out my bike Thanks to Omnico for the lefty service. This steed truely feels like a brand new bike! Before the wheel upgrade it weighed 10.9kg (full aluminium) Now it weighs 10.5kg with Carbon wheels and is as stiff as they come. You will look hard to find a stiffer bike setup than this baby with a lefty shock and Enve wheel. I love this racing snake of mine!
  3. What speed you want? I have a 9 spd one that's new
  4. The internal diameter of bars differ that's why they work for some but not for others and the developers clearly didn't make sure they can fit the bars with a bigger internal diameter.
  5. No Qualifying, just enter. To get better seeding do a racetec timed race or 2. The route is fairly easy though
  6. I've used a polar H1 on a wattbike before and it worked and that doesn't broadcast Ant+ or Bluetooth.
  7. As long as it stay that cheap I'll be there. Other races' entry fees are getting belaglik.
  8. I like the idea , but the poll didn't state this idea clear enough. Rephrase it and the outcome might differ.
  9. Dit moes autofill wees, reggemaak nou.
  10. Race up for TUE, in the spirit of JULY I chose the 2015 TDF prologue.
  11. I got a Cycle ops powerbeam pro of the classifieds for R8000. It gives my power, speed hr, ect. I can ride virtual routes or do power intervals on it. And it uploads automatically to strava and training peaks for analysis.
  12. I saw you stopped halfway, getting a faster PC might not be a bad option
  13. This is my darling, I use her for road races and TT's as well. I am a junior cyclist so no salary for me, that's why I ride a R4k bike. It weighs a staggering 10.2 kgs. Coming down to the point- I am fast , the bike is not... Not only will those 50mm of Carbon help me slice through the air but the Huuuggge drop in wheel weight will make me a demon(or should I say a Darkhorse) on the Climbs. You can see giving the wheels to me as an Investment if you like.
  14. Once you go lefty you never go back...
  15. nearly died there, smashed my 20 min max power! thanks guys I really like the Virtual Time trail thing!
  16. 18 guys up for the online race tonight , Route is very flat - this in going to be exciting!!
  17. I would rather buy second hand , If he doesn't like it he can sell it for almost the same price , if he does like it he got a lot more "bike" than he would buying new for the same price. If that bike is 2nd hand I would say no - rather spend a bit more money and get somthing with Shimano Deore or Slx componets,
  18. Simon Andreassen Did a FTP at the end of NOV last year and AVE 396 for 16 mins!!! may I remind you he is only 19...https://www.strava.com/activities/442001761/analysis/3005/4008
  19. Yup , first test was done after only 2 weeks of training after being of the bike for 3 months(measured during base training block) second test was done after my first peak for the season( upped the intensity in the previous 4 weeks) Third test was done in the middle of a training block with a lot of races next 2 will be after another 4 weeks each and my third one from now will be close to my 2nd peak of the season. (The one where I am aiming for 330)
  20. This is just a prediction, after I've done another FTP I will also plot the result and update the graph. The reason behind the initial idea was to see if there is to find a more specific relation between improvement in FTP vs training vs time. At this stage I am hoping to go to 330 in 245 days from the start(end of August).
  21. Due to a lack of data (none whatsoever ) except my own I've created a possible prediction for my future FTP... obviously there is a lot of variables involved and by no means is it accurate, but here is my example. I experimented on excel and then went on to Matlab to draw the final graph. I'll be more than willing to create a graph for anyone , just send me the data.
