  1. A little bit of blue waffle with the Tissot PRX yesterday.
  2. Could also be a severe case of arthritis. Very possible for people who identify as a 90 year old man.
  3. It’s an expensive exercise wanting to be relevant.
  4. Try Craft Cycles in Sunninghill.
  5. Brake hose must be 0.0005 mm long if the system only has 6 ml if fluid in.
  6. Spaceview with this 55 years old girl today.
  7. 😂😂😂 It’s hardly like soccer or Formula 1 And often the supposed “best bike” of any said year runs 3 rd or 4th an entire season.
  8. I was keen to comment along the same lines. But in fear of a LeHub lambasting, it’s all about the bike (to keep the peace)
  9. Yes But they hung on to it for dear life. Marketing was always their main priority and they will easily patent a proprietary name for the sake of it. Brilliant brand from a man who put his heart, sole and bones on the line to build his company. But sometimes they are asleep at the wheel, whilst other brands take a corner quicker and smoother. I was very fortunate to sit with Dr. Andy Pruitt at the Morgan Hill offices for just over a week. He was working us through body geometry and all the science behind it. Much of that was pure genius with the interest of the rider (end user) as first priority. I remember sitting at breakfast and Mike Sinyard was sitting at our table in Salt Lake. They had the TDF on the big screen, it was an absolute pleasure watching the man leap from his seat with overwhelming excitement, as one of the teams were all kitted with Specialized Helmets. I personally feel that some of that Sinyard passion and magic is no longer part of the brand. But enough of that, a lot of hot air to say absolutely nothing other than, hard tails will be here to stay for a very, very long time.
  10. Yup Not gonna happen. I think some of these bike companies are losing the plot, thinking a WC podium bike is the bike the everyday man wants, but they forget what the everyday man is willing to spend. Specialized are always late to the party, I mean how long were they trying to ride the Horst-Link wave 🤷🏻
  11. My Scalpel rode like a pogo stick. The tension load in those chain-stays was insanely stupid. My KHS soft tail and Airborne soft tail rode better.
  12. My apologies. It was actually an RS4 The van he sold years ago to save his company, but has since bought another one, which stands in the exhibition foyer of the head office in Morgan Hill. The Porsche he used to like running around in from his German offices o the other hand, was one awesome piece of machinery.
  13. And Mike Sinyard cracks open another beer after taking his unmarked Audi S4 for a spin around Morgan Hill.
  14. Pants are comfy. I cut the internals out so I can wear them over bibs. They have been tailored to fit slim around the legs.
  15. Have to say, wondering this myself 🤷🏻
  16. Best route would be to book the fork in for a service and then a proper assessment can be done. Biggest bushing issue I’ve ever had with RS (and not very often if I may add) was bushings not sitting deep enough, in other words flush.
  17. This is very true, however looking at new bikes year on year, I’m starting to believe that most of these “engineers” are simply autocad designers with marketing degrees.
  18. It all depends if you are seeing some rubbing from dry dust wipers, or perhaps gouges from dirt that got trapped in the dust wipers, causing wear. The only way to determine stanchion wear is to drop the lowers and see what they look like lower down. If you have wear there, it’s a sure sign that the internal bushings were never seated properly, they would have worn along with the wear to the stanchions, and would need to be replaced. People tend to neglect the importance of a lower leg service, it’s normally left for “too late”
  19. Exactly that brand. The team they used in that must have never worked on bicycles for a living. Was developed by designers.
