  1. Sure, but can you find one that takes any of his battery systems? Maybe there's an untapped market niche there 😁
  2. It claims not … but is also pretty damn poor at sealing. 2 reasons to avoid it, pity as I like the team behind the product.
  3. It all started out so well, then the repeated front wash out feeling and the puncture you can never find. second strip of the wheel - chuck it in the pool, half the nipples are leaking air. Apparently squirt sealant and mavic rims make more electricity than eskom. still working through just how thrilled about this outcome I am, low mileage wheels et too for extra pain 😡
  4. Dream build … but 2 tubes and a pump, didn’t realise you were that pessimistic 🤣
  5. Always been a fan and thoroughly enjoyed the latest movie. Less twisted than the 80’s one but true to the books and fantastically atmospheric. You definitely have to read the books, missing out on a lot of intricacies if you haven’t !
  6. Glorious morning in the Banhoek valley yesterday
  7. Following on from this the section from the R512 to the R3 is some public access gravel then a portion of van Galen's trails (concrete track climb) then hooking onto some private farm roads and not following the van Galen's trails. So unless have permission there it will be an issue but by following their trails can get to the R3 with minor route mod (but should pay van Galen for the pleasure). South of the R3 I suspect only a few km of gravel is public access and the rest pvt. Strava heat maps shows occasional riding in the past https://www.strava.com/segments/13889137 but I would be dubious that the route is legally open. If you look at more recent rides on the segment leaderboard posted will see other routing options and get an idea of frequency, how many of them are public access not sure though. If you undertake the adventure will also be interested in how it turns out!
  8. Excellent first post! Congratulations, must have been a hot day in the saddle.
