now having the bike cleaned ... well that might be pushing it a bit far ( I have tried, but did not win that one)

sure thing ... just get fr0m a ride and dump stuff in the wash and it is ready next day ... why would it be any other way

just be careful on hanging by wheel for a MT Bike, not good for the shocks (so I am told). I use the Holdfast hanging frame and it works great and keeps the bikes neat against the wall and enought space to still park the car. If you hang by wheel then you will not have enough space to park park in a standard size garage.

Popeye, I do agree with you that I must now move on and just ride to improve. But my beef is that I have ridden and deserve credit for what I have achieved (maybe nothing in others eye's), but we all like to measure ourselves and for PPA not to use these two races is not fair as they were timed and sanctioned.

PPA news feed posted on Monday said one to two days for seeding to be sorted ... guess what "nothing" .........

I have been using the Look Quartz for a year now and they are the "best" ....

it is all about communciation and letting us memebers know what is going on ... not just a note on the website saying the seeding link is down for a day or two. Be honest .. is it because of the Argus or lack of members renewing or no sponsor for the numbers. Give a specific date and commit yourselves.

Thx FannieFiets for the explanantion. It is far more than we have ever got from the PPA. The way in which the PPA have handled this is not professional. The seeding run for the new year was not a surprise and this should have been complted months ago. Most of us pay our fees renewal fees on time and expect a profesional service.

go and look at some of the bike shops in Cape Town and you will see items still with WE price tags for sale ...

Totally agree with azb0105 ... it was a disaster. The race itself was great. Very disappointed with the kiddies race as this was shocking. No numbers or anything to give kids at the end ...what did we pay R30 for? We were ripped off today folks
