Thanks for the response it is the detail of what distances is raced by the respective age groups and if there is any requirement or seeding events before the championship.

What is required to enter these championships and what is the format and distances set for the actual championship

Still don't understand that they ignore the 947 for seeding.

Had same pin hitch on my Rav and replaced the pin with a bolt and nut which also stopped it from rattling.

Saw a guy with broken handle bar come in with scars from fall. Hope you Ok looked like the shoulder was real eina. Curious to know if handle bar caused the fall or broke in the fall?

Also if you don't mind the uneven surface use steel wool to smooth instead of sandpaper quicker and gives some character.

Wash with scrubbing brush an warm Amonia solution. Will remove all dead sells (grey wood). Let dry and then start sanding process and apply sealer. Works well on sun exposed front doors and garden furniture.

I will pay R2000 for a device that beeps in the Taxi to warn that a cyclist is ahead.

Biggest problem is that it will keep buldging at the cut and the tube may find a way out. I fixed similar cut on my Gatorskin by putting a piece of assetate (tough plastic rapping used to seal CD,s and other goods in shops preventing theft) Cut a piece much larger than the cut (2cm each side) and make shure you round and smooth sharp edges. I still pump the wheel 8bar and it lasted for the last 4 months. I keep a piece in my kit incase I get another cut on the road because I had to limp home with the previous cut because as soon as I pumped the wheel sufficiently to ride the tube would start buldging out.

Thats great any more news. will the track be open at specific times other that the night rides. Do you know of more courses planning this.

Just read an article on Moneyweb that indicates that Cycling is taking over from Golf as far as spending go. Just an idea: Golf courses can diversify by building mtb tracks at least around the perimeter and with this make available more tracks in urban areas available and provide a safe environment for cyclists.
