  1. Not sure if there is another thread for CSixx Foamo's but... So yesterday I managed to put a nice ding on my rim through the last rock garden of die kloof @ conties. Now luckily the rim is not a write-off and the tire still sits/seals relatively fine. Don't think I am not going to increase my tire pressure as I already run 30psi in the rear. So thinking of getting the above foamo's for the rear. Any experience with them on the hub here? Should I go for the 10 or 20mm. Any advice/ideas welcome.
  2. Bump... I'd also like to know
  3. I'm so excited!!! I just cant hide it!!! Only 1 one the 3 I will get to attend!
  4. Rode at conties over the weekend and saw some of the new secret tracks that have been cut/built/opened for the enduro. LOOKS... SICK! Even more bummed now that I cant make it. :'(
  5. (Posting here as there are 1.5 miljoen jonkers threads) Can Anybody tell me what is the earliest one can go ride Jonkers on a Saturday? The minister of home affairs has to be there at 7am for something so was thinking she drop me off and I ride while she does her thing.. So don't want sit in the car park like a weirdo waiting for it to open...
  6. I would reckon the maxxis are still better value as they offer superior traction. But you won`t be disappointed if you do go with the XR4 up front.
  7. They came stock on my fuel ex. Pretty good tire. Nice and grippy on hard to loose dirt. Not ridden them in the wet so can't comment. Not as puncture proof as maxxis though...
  8. Finish line - the green one when it's wet and muddy. NEVER USE WHEN NOT WET AND MUCKY YOU WILL DESTROY YOUR CHAIN. Else I use white lightning clean ride for dry conditions.
  9. Haha yes I did. But now they know how I feel about their inactivity ????????

  11. Dammit seems I need to read my docs/emails more thoroughly... Thanks
  12. Anybody on here on vitality that needs a new person in their "team" to get free stuff. I make my goal every week but unfortunately cannot say the same for the rest of my "team". I want more free stuff. PM if you interested. Got 2 open spaces after I decided to demote my current team mates
  13. Meerendal - Yesterday Afternoon: Needed some climbing miles and decided it is the time that us baggy wearing folk go add some brake bumps on the lycra blokes berms! All is fair you know Rampage is a nice descent. But definitely not a "rampage"
  14. May seem silly but... I didn`t buy it last year as I was out of town a lot but then I went and did some math at the amount of money paid at the honesty box... ... may as well just have bought it seeing as I spent double the price of last year's membership. Worth it!
  15. This Hoogies skills park?
  16. As long as you make your weekly goals its fine. I got the watch for the wife while I use a polar to make my goals. I do not have the watch registered as a fitness device.
  17. I'd say it depends on the type of riding you'll be doing. If you aim to do XC/Marathons or stage races the geo is perfect! If you aim for trail riding only with a few enduro focussed trails here and then not so much but still rather capable. That be my 2c`s.
  18. @theboredyeti Mostly fly fishing stuff with bit`s and pieces of family, riding, trail running & pets stuff here and there
  19. Ok so this is not really cycling related, but my favourite pastime is fly fishing and these are some of the flies I tied up over the past weekend. But think I nailed the camera angle.
  20. I would say swop the Ardent for an Ardent race version. I have it up front and it moves and grips pretty damn well. Previously had an ardent on, still have it but found it a bit overkill for most of our conditions, except when they riding gets wet and muddy. Only bad thing I can say about the Ardent race is that the biggest you get it is 2.35.
  21. Bloody STAVASSHOLES!
  22. Hi Fat Boab On the right-hand side what you don't see in this picture is the bicycle lane that is separate from the road. (See image) This piece of road is rather distracting to drivers as you have a fantastic view of the mountain and the vlei. Seen people swerve so much on this road into the emergency lane because they stare at either distraction. My point is why not make use infrastructure that is there for your safety and convenience. why place yourself directly in harm's way when you can avoid it completely. It just irks me. (Rant over)
