  1. They came stock on my fuel ex. Pretty good tire. Nice and grippy on hard to loose dirt. Not ridden them in the wet so can't comment. Not as puncture proof as maxxis though...
  2. Haha yes I did. But now they know how I feel about their inactivity ????????
  3. Haha yes I did. But now they know how I feel about their inactivity ????????
  4. Dammit seems I need to read my docs/emails more thoroughly... Thanks
  5. Anybody on here on vitality that needs a new person in their "team" to get free stuff. I make my goal every week but unfortunately cannot say the same for the rest of my "team". I want more free stuff. PM if you interested. Got 2 open spaces after I decided to demote my current team mates
  6. Meerendal - Yesterday Afternoon: Needed some climbing miles and decided it is the time that us baggy wearing folk go add some brake bumps on the lycra blokes berms! All is fair you know Rampage is a nice descent. But definitely not a "rampage"
  7. May seem silly but... I didn`t buy it last year as I was out of town a lot but then I went and did some math at the amount of money paid at the honesty box... ... may as well just have bought it seeing as I spent double the price of last year's membership. Worth it!
  8. This Hoogies skills park?
  9. As long as you make your weekly goals its fine. I got the watch for the wife while I use a polar to make my goals. I do not have the watch registered as a fitness device.
  10. I'd say it depends on the type of riding you'll be doing. If you aim to do XC/Marathons or stage races the geo is perfect! If you aim for trail riding only with a few enduro focussed trails here and then not so much but still rather capable. That be my 2c`s.
  11. @theboredyeti Mostly fly fishing stuff with bit`s and pieces of family, riding, trail running & pets stuff here and there
  12. Ok so this is not really cycling related, but my favourite pastime is fly fishing and these are some of the flies I tied up over the past weekend. But think I nailed the camera angle.
  13. I would say swop the Ardent for an Ardent race version. I have it up front and it moves and grips pretty damn well. Previously had an ardent on, still have it but found it a bit overkill for most of our conditions, except when they riding gets wet and muddy. Only bad thing I can say about the Ardent race is that the biggest you get it is 2.35.
  14. Bloody STAVASSHOLES!
  15. Hi Fat Boab On the right-hand side what you don't see in this picture is the bicycle lane that is separate from the road. (See image) This piece of road is rather distracting to drivers as you have a fantastic view of the mountain and the vlei. Seen people swerve so much on this road into the emergency lane because they stare at either distraction. My point is why not make use infrastructure that is there for your safety and convenience. why place yourself directly in harm's way when you can avoid it completely. It just irks me. (Rant over)
  16. Get your popcorn as I have a small rant... (Sorry know this may be off topic, but with the amount of safety talk happing in this thread of late I thought it would fit in here) WHY IN HEAVENS NAME DO YOU HAVE TO CYCLE HERE??? I saw you turn off from Blaauwberg road onto Otto Du Plessis drive (r27). Why could you not have pressed the little button on the robot that allows you to pass safely to the other side so you can actually get on the specifically built bicycle lanes! Sure it would've made you wait for about 3 to 5 minutes and even if the traffic is moving at snail's pace. By doing this you could have increased your and others safety 10 fold. Are you too f...ing good for a bicycle lane? Are you an immortal god? Are you able to manipulate the space-time continuum? Why Why Why??? And when that day comes where someone hits you, now you expect us all to feel sorry for you and your family. Never mind the trauma suffered by those who hit you on the road where all of this could've been avoided had you invested more time in your safety and cycling on the dedicated bicycle lane. I see this every day on this road, mornings and the evenings always the same idiots! Fed up now. think it's time to shame you.
  17. This morning I learnt that if you greet some Cape Townians on his/her bikes they will fall off of the bicycle out of sheer shock from you having the audacity to say good morning to them... I am going to make a game of this who wants to play?
  18. PM sent
