  1. Lol, I hear you, very few people have seen it, it took me almost 2 years to get around to watching it but I'm so glad I did. It is absolutely spectacular, from the acting to the shooting style to the score. I also thought, hmmm Australia, moving there might not be so bad, right to the middle of nowhere lol. For me, the ending was just so perfect. That last episode was how every good series should end. This series superb acting, I think to continuously display that kind of emotion in such a convincing way must be really difficult. It's funny, telling people about the film - semi-spoiler coming even though it happens in the first 1min of the show --- 30% of the people disappear just like that, vanish... they turn off and assume it's all scifi. So far from what it's about. I could go on forever about it but if you want to do your self a favour and you enjoy good storytelling, watch The Leftovers.
  2. To date, my best ride yet, thank you matey
  3. The iconic table mountain
  4. Super cool, enjoy them, they will only smell the way they do now this one time.
  5. I rode today for the first time on my Following MB in X-Low mode. I was interested in seeing two things mainly, decending ability and climbing of course with the slacker seat angle. Climbing was great, rode up a fairly steep rocky road and having a bit more weight on the back actually helped. I often need to pop the front wheel over rocks and having it light almost made it effortless. This I think, helps conserve upper body energy for the decent. I think reading the numbers of it is far from riding the bike and experiencing it. Decending was really nice, I’d not ridden the trails before so I didn’t gas it. The bike still has all it’s pop and fun but with a more planted feel. Didn’t notice the peddles feeling much lower, I ride the recommended 170mm cranks and it was fine. If you haven’t tried it I would definitely say give it a try, I’m not going back to low mode anytime soon. Can’t post here without mentioning the Offering, man that My Boy Blue is beautiful. Totally worth that R48k on top of the R3k carbon frame. Happy riding Evil’ers, I’ll try add more after I’ve ridden more.
  6. I’m actually not sure, it’s got coffee cups as a pattern.
  7. The Leftovers season 1,2,3 Best series I have ever watched hands down.
  8. When I lived in JHB this was an amazing place to train, have a good time.
  9. Hey guys, not to knock these socks but I bought a pair based on the feedback here and I dont think that they are that great, especially for R120. The base is not particulaly soft and the top doesnt really thin out for sweating or heat release. Been riding with them and they work but my Global socks that I got for R99 are so much better. Thicker soles, better elasticity and a thin upper. Overall they just feel better.
  10. I'm 1.92m 6.3 and the Following MB XL fits great with a 50mm stem. Just dropped to XXxx-low mode so I need to do a steep climb to see how she feels.
  11. I ran the 2.5 Aggressor on the back of my Following MB, it's tight but doable if you put some tape on the inside to protect the frame. I'm runing a 2.3 now but I hear stones scraping that tape all the time. I dont think it's down to little clearance on the frame, I think it all depends where you ride and what the dirt is like. Putting tape is a must and I'd do it on any bike I ride.
  12. Harkerville Plett
  13. Agreed, I just got my Following MB a month ago and I love it but had I known this baby was arriving I would have definitely chosen it over the Following.
  14. I downloaded a few of his podcasts, actually looking forward to listening to them. Looks like he interviews listen worthy people.
  15. It's all about aerodynamics. Having a large curved frame pushes the air around the face rather than smashing into the two eye sockets and swirling. This creates a backdraft and slows the rider down by a factor of 0.000002. I substantial amount IMO.
  16. Nice, I've just taken mine to get modded, they seem built for shorter, narrower bikes, my bike doesn't fit on its own and definitely won't with side by side with another.
  17. I've got to get back to the game, never finished it but the fact that they are making a film = MIND BLOWN
  18. Hard Sun, really good.
  19. Anybody playing the new Spiderman, it looks really good.
  20. So nice, are they clipless or flats?
  21. I spent a month working with her and she was nice, just not as nice as you’d imagine her to be.
  22. I'll definitely try and join the next one.
  23. Thank you for this thread guys, really helps.
  24. Fourth ride out on her. Top of Contermanskloof.
  25. I went for the XL, fit is perfect. Rode a large and if I really had to I suppose it could work but the XL is definitely the right size for me.
