Firstly, Yes Akrigg is amazing on a bike but no, that is not a bunny hop, well only a bunny hop. he bunny hops off a small kicker which gives him more height. But the whole point of trials is not to put your foot down, so maybe clipped in isn't such a bad idea..... If you're one of those aliens like macaskill etc. Yes, but sometimes you need to put your foot out to the side to balance. mb thats just me because i suck. Can do a respectable height with flats (well at least I thought it was untill I read this topic) but when i put cleats on i start bunny hopping like a XC rider, need to practice with cleats. does a 90cm side hop count

I love reading all these rubbish chips about Avid brakes, shows how useless and lazy some riders are. don't compare Elix 1 and 3 to Deores, the equivalent are the model below Deores which no one ever mentions Deores equivalent are like Elix 5 or 7 which are awesome. I have Avids on all my bikes. Juicy 3 Juicy 5 Elixir R Elixir 5 Codes (these are amazing) :thumbup: So for all those that don't like Avid, don't buy the cheapest set and expect them to work like SLX and learn to have some control in your braking finger.
