There will be a chain across the track to stop vagrants from riding without consent. All builders will know the code to take it off. All non builders are required to pay a R10 Beer & Builders fee when they come to ride, they will need to go during work hours or when others that know the code are there.

I agree, Westcliff would be a good 1, Steep, short and with a few corners. also no road closure issues. If they don't go for it we could try the school just above them. They have a fairly long steep'ish road/driveway. 3rd option I would say Munro Dr start just after the last house driveway and end at the top, that way we not blocking anyone and we would just need some security/ medics. Cobbles would be cool but the road is very narrow and residents will probably complain.

Could be fun. My 2 cents, If you make it a long climb its obvious the fittest guy will win (Linksfield ridge or Sylvias pass) If you make it a sub 1 min sprint it will make it a lot more interesting, broaden the field a bit, (2nd half of Munro drive or the Cobblestone road near Linksfield) Thats if you want steep.

My first set of disc brakes were 2009 Deore's Lets just say they were rubbish had very little power and levers kept on loosing compression. Tried a set of Juicy 3's after that and they felt awesome, been happy with Avid since, except for the Elix R's Maybe the expensive shimano's are way better but I don't have the cash to try them out. Rode a friends bike with XT's and they felt pretty good, a little plastic but still good.
