  1. At 5:25 this morning with the blackness surrounding me and the only friend being a yellow line and a light to lead the way, my normal alarm started, the one that I use to wake up to take the car, at that moment I grinned, As it chirped merrily away in my back pack, I grinned that I had set the earlier one, I grinned that it was just me and my bike, I grinned that I was there at that exact moment.. I continued pedaling into the darkness
  2. Live feed of the finish line new.livestream.com/accounts/7541723/events/2862086/videos/45943859
  3. Glad to see they catching up..
  4. Any idea if you can get the full Stage 1 highlight video, The 25min one, I can only find the 3 short videos on the cape epic youtube channel.
  5. Can't believe the amount of tyre issues.. Suss & Bigham were first at WP3 at 4:08, And Capebrewing co. 14min behind..
  6. Hi, I'm interested in this light, but I want to know does it easily detach from the bike, Like would it be easy to remove it once a day if I needed to. It looks like the battery does, but does the front and back light
  7. HI I just want to find out if the Ryde Taurus 21 rim's can be converted to tubeless with ease?
  8. I'm using these, was reviewed by TREAD mag a few months ago, I'm very happy with mine, cost is around R1100 and nice that it has a ratchet They scott pro shoes http://www.bobs-bicycles.com/images/P/Scott-MTB-Shoes-Pro-Black-Red.jpg
  9. I fixed
  10. Yip there was an issue with the online entries.
  11. How bad is this going to be really?
  12. If you going to do road yes
  13. So I'm abit irritated that to enter the MTB you had to get a racetec chip and now they are actually using SAS boards which I already had.
  14. Does anyone know if the race collection bags are still going to happen, I think it was today at Cyclelab Fourways?
  15. When I entered the race I had to make use of my racetec chip number, not my SAS Seeding number, I also had to purchase racetec chips for others that didn't have yet that are doing the race.
  16. My approach to this was I wanted to start riding first, but I didn't have a very big budget, Also didn't know if I was going to enjoy it or not, So I got a fairly cheap bike a helmet and a few other spares, had flats, normal tshirts and shorts, I loved it and was hooked, so following month got a pair of shorts, gloves, glasses and a bike rack, following month got some nice scott mtb shoes & cleats, and so it went, Now I'm at the stage of saving for a new bike because I realized I bought too cheaply, but every month I had something to add to my riding experience and no loan to worry about.
  17. If you don't mind me asking what is the tubeless conversion going to cost you?
  18. Do you find battery usage the same on both? I found Endomondo to be much lighter
  19. Use both, you can easily upload rides to either one The nice thing about endomondo is you can take part in The Hub challenges for 2014 https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/134676-the-hubsa-endomondo-challenges-2014/page__hl__endomondo
  20. Would like to do 40 this year, the 20k last year was my first
  21. Also doing 30, Enjoyed it last year
  22. They are working with the app developers this week to sort out the issues
  23. From Best IMO TREAD FullSus (Guys are going a good job here) Bicycling Ride I put Ride at the bottom because they once paired a Golf Mag with it?
  24. I would think that with a 70MB image you will be able to read the license disc, but I would be surprised if you could do that with OCR (Due to all the variables mentioned above) It will make sense if it is on a per image basis, Lefty you mentioned with filters and clearing up, etc. Agree with Lefty on the data capturing, its going to be massive amounts of data
  25. Awesome video! Any ideas on the name of the song?
