What pisses me off the most about these scooter wankers is how dangerously close they ride around people who have their kids on the bikes.

Awesome but I wonder what the individual drummer hears?

Scooters here are the pits! They take up a lot of space and are not that much faster than a race bike. I had a close call with a scooter last week when he tried to pass my bakfiets and ran out of room. He braked hard then hit a pole, knobhead!

It is easier to do and ask for forgiveness than to ask and be let down. If you can so the car gate then do it! My word, what person would not want a car gate!? I used to race cars going up Kloof Nek after work. They would overtake me at the bottom but I would catch up to them at the top. Then going down the Glen a driver hooted and shouted at me cause I entered the lane first and was not sharing it. She was tailgating me but nearly lost control entering the first hairpin. After two or three turns she was nowhere to be seen.

Who remembers hearing over the school intercom...'Hairy, Slowbee, Bonus and Jakkals to the principles office!'...low mummer in the classroom .

Just buy a bunch of cheap lights on sale and sell it to cyclists at cost!

I am beginning to think that the Dutch are not that great at cycling. Or at least not very considerate. I was cycling home late and when crossing an intersection I heard skidding tyres and something clip my back wheel followed by a panicked shout. A woman that had right of way came flying around the corner with no lights and it was dark. She started to give me sh!t about who was in the wrong and I quickly pointed out that I did not see her and she was lucky I was not a car. Another passerby backed me up regarding her lack of visibility. A lot of Dutch commuters don't have lights on their bikes. Winter is going to be interesting.

I bought a lot of heavy metal t-shirts there as well as a trench coat. I also bought a few badges patches and so on. Back in the day, that area was the best. False: It all depends on what or how you are hunting. I saw my mate drop two Kudus with iron sights using a lever action. The Kudus were close in a bushy area and we were lying in wait for hours. When the time was right he took action and was able to take another with the lever action. For long shots, I agree that a bolt action is better but for close quarters nothing beats a cowboy rifle!
