I hated those tuk tuk things in Sea Point. They would sneak up the side of a queue of traffic to the front, then cut in when the light went green, and then hare off - at their top speed of 20km/h, causing a long delay. Great in principle but with our drivers and rules, no-no.

Ja, agreed. As I said before, I suppose you're paying for their setup and overhead costs. You're lucky you can do your own. I live in a tiny apartment and have no space, tools and in some cases, ability to do my own.

By the way, are you signed up on wilddogs? I have recommended it to a coupla guys here. Very useful portal.
