At least I learned yesterday that I don't have to plan my day around watching MotoGp2. It was a processional Morbidelli show. I saw one overtake the whole race and got a brief glimpse of Binder languishing in 21st spot. Not edge of the seat stuff. Let's hope it improves although I think night racing is just not good for viewing. No aerial shots, no scenery, harsh fake light and difficult to get a context of the field and race . Altogether it doesn't cut it.

Just to put out there the other side of this, I was walking down Loop Street yesterday across Wale Street. Some - ahem, cyclist - rode straight through the red lights and almost hit a bunch of pedestrians crossing the road. It's not only car drivers who break the rules. Flame suit on..

Some questions: I ran Sportsdevil over the weekend to try to watch some rugby. Most streams would not run and even those that did had such bad resolution that it was impossible to identify players. Same for the Sevens. Thing is, movies and some series are fine with almost HD quality. And I had the strange phenomenon of streams just looping. I can't answer any questions about details regarding the line yet as it was on my brother's farm but will find out the details from him. We did a speed test on his phone (using the same router) and it was about 2Mb/s at the time. Anybody else experienced this or got any suggestions?

I’ve read and watched this column without commenting as I thought everyone else put things far more eloquently than I could have. But this news is just so, so sad and compels me to at least communicate my profound sympathies and condolences to his family and friends. I did not have the privilege to meet Barry but have chatted to him via the Hub and feel the pain of losing a good person. Life is precious and not fair at the same time.
