This fearsome kick is known as a kin geri in Karate. I don't know the Tae Kwon Do term though. Looking closer, it would appear that Red was going for a roundhouse kick to the head (Jodan mawashi geri) and the fearless Blue decided upon a rarely used, but much respected, groin block popularized by Master Ken, founder of Amerido.
