    I have a pair of carbon soled Suplest Zero. I find them to be well made and a great fit. I have wider feet with very high arches so Sidi etc would not be for me. The Suplest have a nice roomy toe box without being loose.

    I find it is the very fact that violence is so over the top that makes it emotionally neutral. One cannot take it seriously. The manga/anime like portrayal of the fight scenes and the absurd volumes of blood have to be viewed within the context of the genre. The aftermath of the sword fight is like a Jackson Pollock or Hieronymus Bosch.

    Kandui's proposed solution is to occupy the mountain ie. use it as a viable resource in greater numbers, not vigilantism. More people on the mountain gives any number of bandits, whether armed or not, less opportunity to attack individuals or small groups. To equate a call for larger numbers on the mountain to riders acting as security patrols does not follow logically. The only training required is to be able to cycle, walk or run with a cell phone. We all know how to use those devices. I do not believe that a call to vigilantism can be read into his post.
