  1. We live in a beautiful city. My Korean bike thought himself tourist yesterday, so we did some sight seeing. Came up Kloofnek from Geneva road (Campsbay). Some of those hairpins did hurt a bit. Awesome day out though. On top of Signal Hill On the other side of the valley, the end of Table Mountain road.

  9. Awesome ride out on the argus route. We added a second chappies climb and blackhill. A total of 1800m ascend. Stunning day. Lots of riders. A compliment to the Cape Town Giants who were out in full force and very friendly and curteous.
  10. Chappies + wind = burning legs. Still, what a awesome ride.
  11. Visiting my brother-in-law in Caledon. Took a early morning ride to Grayton. At one stage I thought my head was freezing! Bluddy cold. Had some bake beans and eggs in Grayton before heading back. Not a easy ride. But lekker non the less Brother got a puncture on the way back. Some amazing scenery.

  13. The sad thing is that the person who will get to own this beauty, will never ride it. Which means this masterpiece will never live out its purpose but will remain forever a mantle piece.
  14. I agree. I do have great taste! Haha
  15. Silverback's maden voyage. Best route to test it "carbon" was obviously Chappies- blackhill -redhill (to the top and over) - Lakeside brew at Imhoff - chappies. Amazing to think that I build both these beauties from knowing next to nothing around two years ago. Father in law is very impressed with his new ride.
  16. I built this today. Bike shop wanted to charge my Father in law R2700 for the build (including a new seatpost). I bought a Pro LT seatpost (matching with his bar and stem) with some cables and small bits for a total of R500 and built it for him. It was a good day. No idea why its upside down... At least it runs straight...
  17. A bargain I couldnt refuse. And after deciding to start doing my own maintanance, its a good buy...
  18. Only had time for a quick ride between Brackenfell and the top op Devonvale. 36km with 300m ascend. 30.7km ave.

  20. Morning ride on Sunday betweem Houtbay and Simonstown. Stopping on top of Red Hill remains one of the best views in Cape Town
