  3. I think this is laid to rest 1. The entire 21 page thread is over R1400 wheels 2. The OP is either stupid enough to buy bew rims decals and rebuild and sell them as the old wheels at a loss, or the buyer is trying bullding strawmen from hot air. 3. The OP is in his right to refuse a refund, and the buyer cant do anything about it. 4. We trust the seller'/ character based on his history and reputationin the Hub community and thus by default take his point of view, unless it can be PROVEN otherwis. 5. Buyer must write this off as school fees, stop moaning over 1400 rims and enjoy them on the road. Peace out

  5. Had the same problem with an order a while back, but after a email raising my concerns I was called (yes telephonically) within a space of 10 minutes and sorted. (The service department is a whole different kettle of fish that wont see me again...)
  6. I have AC 420's. Light, strong, smooth rolling, and rides beautifully. I prefer them over my SL's.

  8. Finally got back on my bike six weeks after chappies crash. Shoulder still not 100% but much better, which still affects my climbing. Chest is fine. Feels magic to visit Devonvale again. Remains a magic hill.

  10. Got to ride the pass between kleinmond and Gordon's bay. Cold but beautiful morning. Dodged some baboons. Those guys are big up close! It is now one of my favorite roads to ride. Absolutely beautiful.

  12. Finally got to climb Franschoek pass. Only took 126km of riding to do it. Was mother cold though. Snot froze inside your nose!
  13. We live in a beautiful city. My Korean bike thought himself tourist yesterday, so we did some sight seeing. Came up Kloofnek from Geneva road (Campsbay). Some of those hairpins did hurt a bit. Awesome day out though. On top of Signal Hill On the other side of the valley, the end of Table Mountain road.
  14. Note to self, always check distance before you set out if you are unsure. Ended up doing 83km when I thought it would only be 65 odd. Was a great ride out though. Devonvale - Hells - Elsenburg. Top of Devonvale Top of Hellshoogte
  15. Didnt have my phone with me for some pics, but here's my strava screenshot. Devonvale, Helshoogte and Remhoogte before we were forced to turn back due to light. Was a leka 70km though.
  16. An incredible day out on the road on Sunday. Chappies, Blackhill, Redhill, COFFEE, Blackhill Chappies. Tested out my Ksyriums and man do they roll!

  18. Top of Devonvale climb. Always a beautiful sight from there.
  19. I 2nd the single layer. Double layer banana socks is a bit warm around the cuffs. Great for winter but I couldnt really enjoy them over the summer months.
  20. The rules says 3 years. But usually fomo hits during the Argus expos, which means anywhere between 1 and 2 years.
  21. Awesome ride out on the argus route. We added a second chappies climb and blackhill. A total of 1800m ascend. Stunning day. Lots of riders. A compliment to the Cape Town Giants who were out in full force and very friendly and curteous.
