  1. On the tyre issue, will the lbs replace it? On the other issue, lol, yes I did, went for foreign weapons handling course, and absolutely loved it.
  2. I converted from runnung tubes,to tubeless during september. I bought Maxxis crossmark's lust 26x2.1 tyres, and since then rode happily on them, and accumulated roughly 800km on them. This morning, while washing my mtb, I noticed a "bubble" on the rear tyre. I do inflate the rear tyre to 3.2bar,and the terrain I ride on do have rocks, but surely it would rather cut the tyre? Is it possibly a factory fault, and should I rather replace the tyre and keep this one as a spare on a trail? Included are some pictures of the bubble. And the terrain I ride on
  3. Hi there, I got myself a selle saddle today, for a test, but would like to hear from other riders what your view is on the q-bik saddles. It would be used for mountain biking, and I am still in the mid 90kg's category.
  4. Respect, it takes a real man to admit a mistake, and to apologise.
  5. I use a variety of different things, ie; bananas, peanut snacks, granola bars, pronutro bars ect while riding, that is what is meant with nutrition. I eat a large breakfast before a race/morning ride, but still, my problem area is between 20-30km. During that distance I suffer the most, and lose valuable time. After 30km's I start to recover, and get a "second breath". My goal is now to eliminate that "wall-banger".
  6. Those are Mtb'ers, they don't climb like that, they are actually pushing the truck, and only 2 are needed. I would believe the climbing part if it was roadies......rotfl
  7. I usually eat oats before the time,or nutrilife,then put a banana,and peanut snacks and a chockie along with gels or 32gi chews. I also carry a 2l hydration pack,and believe me,I use it a lot,lol.
  8. This may sound stupid, but I have no clue as to why this happens, but I want to coorect the following. Whenever I go riding, I can keep a good avg until I reach between 20-30km mark, that is my absolute worst time of riding. After 30km, I am fine, and my pace picks up again, until I finished cycling. To give a slight background, I started cycling about a year ago, dropped from 113kg to 94kg. I do not have sugar, cholesterol or high/low blood, and I use nutrition every 40min. I noticed that this happens on my training rides, and when I did the trailseeker#5 half marathon. Any advice, other that H.T.F.U?
  9. Genade, daar is baie skade...
  10. Hope and pray these steroid pits don't chase you while cycling.....
  11. Also thouroghly enjoyed the race, organizing was good, nice and fast, was my first nissan trailseeker race, and my budd's first mtb race. Thnx for the staff at the registration point for sorting my problem out, without hassles, much appreciated. See you guys next year for a full series.
  12. Did a eft and cc payment, for me and a friend. Infoermed the team via email, but got no reply. So far, I received a mail for only one entry, and as I asked via telephone, never received the second mail for entry. 14. Looks like threisland of Reunion, going up the mountain throught the clouds.
  15. It is legal to buy a .50cal, if you're willing to fork out R130 000 give or take, and you are registered as a collector. I know a collector in my area who owns one, also fired one shot with it, and it was NICE. When the round goes off, the cash register also goes KA-CHING, R160 a pop, lol.
  16. To be on the safe side, when mounting a rack on the venter trailer, be sure to support the trailer roof on the inside with square tubing to prevent it denting.
