  1. Selfie sort of Team kit launch photo softbox rim lighting and bare octa main, all speedlights. Handed camera to team mate for my shot. taken in a spray booth.
  2. It took me over a minute to get out of the start shute, but as you pre-tagg, your race starts at XX:XX irrespective what time you cross the start line. A minute is a minute
  3. Did the 42km last year, had a blast, did the 50km this year (roadie route). Enjoyed it as much as I decided to TT it. pity about the single lane climb (with the switchbacks) and all the families on the route towards the end. It is public pathways either way so all good.
  4. Mine used the One tonner. Seems they took the penalty away for both racetec and cycle tour seeding. Identical between the two.
  5. My Index is 12... go figure. either way babse. Elite aged, Index of 5. Why start you after us toppies with 10+ index
  6. Definately not. There's riders few years younger and older than me riding in @ that finished in the & bunch in SCT... Probably just Racetec voodoo. At least if I lose my group, i wont have to wait long for & to pick me up... then drop me.. hahahaa
  7. & for me... Why did racetec put @ after & ? @ riders are faster and were basically $ in burger. Whereas i was % in burger
  8. hope 4 goes bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... pity my ability doesnt allow it to go very loud. Totally worthit
  9. Fascinating technology. Not as easy/good as you might think. Iv been using 3d printers for years. What you need to understand that the print quality of consumer level printers is quite crap. So any printing that must be detail, or tight tolerances will probably mean you will have to finish it off by hand. The standard printable materials are not strong, so dont expect it to have much function. You need to be able to use 3d cad programs to really use it. That being said, you can do amazing things with the right machine, right material and proper cad ability. So dont just jump into buying a printer
  10. Easton EA90 SLX. They the 2015 model. I have 16000kms on them, only thing I ever did was replace the bearings on the rear wheel after crashing into a pothole. No spoke issues, no trueing issues. Really like these wheels
  11. Grabbed the last set of ZTR/Hope rims before they launched the MK4 hope combos, from CWC. When having them installed, i discovered my drivetrain was buggered. New cassette, chain, chainrings and BB. It least it sounds good when I freewheel
  12. Did the 42km, tons of fun. we started in the last group, so traffic was going to be a challenge, but never an irritation. On the steep stuff, most people were walking, but managed to get up without unclipping. A bit of traffic on the first ST, but wasnt for too long.
  13. Since everyone's posting Been upgraded since with new bits, but still my favourite pic.
