  1. its something you must set up in strava, at some point it was done?
  2. Took delivery of this Thursday, bought it in great condition off the hub. Went to ride up to the mast and destroyed all my PR's done on 26er trail bike. 2012 XTC Carbon 0, dont think it did many miles in its life. Love it!
  3. Paul Cluver MTB
  4. Milnerton to melkbos, great morning.
  5. Great landscape!
  6. Taken in Paternoster yesterday. Taken on tripod with a variable ND filter:
  7. Update - Since last week, I added a dura ace 7900 groupset, was barely used and at a great price. i kept the Sram Carbon arms and red crank cause they look way cooler IMO. Bike started as a 2013 Felt F85, claimed weight of 9.5kgs. Tiagra groupset, CPX22 (2.2kg) wheels etc... It weighed in at approx 7.5kgs without pedals, cages. Left garmin bits on. Only parts left over is the saddle, stem and bars, Doubt ill change em unless i get a great deal.
  8. New Frame and crankset
  9. It started life as an entry level felt 85. I got the wheels few months ago and she lost 800gsm, then did the frame and crank, the stock FSA is quite horrible and flexible so it's much better now. Lost another 700 I think. Must still do rest of groupset and saddle. Weighing on Wednesday. Besides the weight, rides so smoothly and responsive. I'm also a photographer, so made the pics unfairly prettier
  10. Thanks guys! love the stealth look!
  11. Just assembled my new frame bike is black now
  12. Most of the cleaning up in here can only be done in photoshop: However, lighting, exposure and sky all out of camera.
  13. Lightroom and Photoshop have overlapping functions, both has their place. Lightroom is by far better than photoshop at adjusting general settings, exposure, sharpness, noise, batch editing, organising and rating. Photoshop is better at selective editing, removing imperfections etc... or taking editing to a very artistic level. If you only edit the basic elements of the image, and do adjustments, Lightroom is miles ahead of photoshop for this. Way faster and intuitive. I use both, Im a graphic designer and photographer.
  14. Coreldraw is king when you doing anything that will be manufactured, cut or patterned. Also works well with engineering and CAD apps. Illustrator is for hipsters and Mac fanbois (runs and hides)
  15. Wish I could design cycle gear for a living Iv done 4 kits freelance to date. Good luck with the search!
  16. Not quite a human powered bike Did this with a friend and his BMW 1000 RR in a long driveway. 3 speedlights and one strobe.
  17. There's no watt bikes at KC too local probably. I find intervals on a spin bike, one hour worth makes you feel as if you did a 3 hour road ride. Can actually be an awesome workout
  18. Some pics taken while riding in drakensburg this weekend.
  19. hi all, I was on my own and did a modified version of mountain splendour. Dis Baie koud Hier in die oggend! Lovely trail, technically easy but surroundings are amazing.
  20. Lol, dont plan to take any selfies, more lanscapes. Cape Town looks incredible at sunrise. Also, I sometimes do MTB rides in other provinces just for the view, would be great on those trips as well. I suppose some awesome shots of mates on social rides would be great too. @ pierre, that's definately better priced than the "purpose built" options hey.
  21. I love cycling, I love photography. Many times I do rides at the crack of dawn and wish I had my DSLR along. Obviously I dont intend riding with one all the time, but i would love to choose a day or so now and then and ride and shoot. Any advice, experience with backpacks? I know lowerpro has the sport range, its pretty damn pricey, over R2k. it will hold a medium sized semi pro DSLR, one wide zoom and Prime. No more.
  22. I spin at gym in the week at night, when I cannot ride. I also crank a bit higher than the instructor. Its boring, and i dont enjoy it really, but much better than sitting on the couch.
  23. Thanks guys! I shall contact all of them and see what I can do. Even if I do a 10km route twice or three times
