  7. Fiasco is an understatement according to my club member I hear so, i think that's really awesome, not so much for the top end of the sport but more for the little spectators who are at the finish line waiting for mommy and daddy to finish.

  11. Hey Guys and Gals I contacted the Admin in regards to TrailHub and posting other running related threads to make it more all round running inclusive and i'm delighted to be able to share their response, "Hi Scott Thanks for getting in contact and showing interest in Trail Hub. Please feel free to start discussions on any topic relating to running. We're not strict about keeping the discussion to trail running only. In fact, we'd like to make the website more inclusive of all types of running going forward." So instead of aggregating all our various topics on only this thread, lets try and generate more traffic to the sister site too. http://www.trailhub.co.za/?utm_source=bikehub.co.za&utm_medium=banner&utm_campaign=bikehub

  14. Doping Conviction for Petro Mamu, 2017 World Long Distance Mountain Running Champion I couldn't have said it better, “This may be naive, but I still think that the world championships are supposed to be, like the Olympics, a shining example of peaceful diplomacy, friendship and competition. Cheating defeats that spirit.” http://trailrunnermag.com/people/news/petro-mamu-doping-world-long-distance-mountain-running-championships.html
  15. OMTOM Article about Compression Socks In conclusion, this study showed that there are few beneficial effects from wearing compression garments, with minor improvements in ankle circumference measurements two days after the race, but no other significant effects related to either muscle damage or race times. Based on the results of the study, there is limited evidence to support the continued utilisation of commercially available below knee compression garments during running. 21. Andrew Talansky: After a short, restful break, I’m officially un-retired and ready to share my next chapter! Growing up in Florida I swam and ran cross country competitively before picking up cycling. See where this is headed? Triathlon, and what’s often considered the ultimate test of mind, body, and spirit: Ironman. Most often in life we are pulled towards the logical path, but I've always preferred to let my heart and intuition lead me. I’m fortunate to be able to follow my passion--that which inspires and motivates me--and take on the challenge of venturing into the unknown. As I enter the world of Triathlon and Ironman I’ll be supported by a great group of partners who share my values, excitement, and commitment to this new adventure. I am also looking forward to using this platform to further my work with charitable causes that I feel strongly about. With much to learn I’ll be in Hawaii checking out #IMKONA next week. Please say hi if you see me swimming, riding, running or out and about with my family and I hope you’ll follow along here to share in the journey. #ironmantri #roadtokona
