  1. Rather first clean with parafin and than soapy water. the parafin stays oily and can cause the lube not to take on the chain, also when taking of the excess lube, use it to cover the entire chain, meaning the side plates as well. If you want to remve it, then soak the chain in parafin then scrub it, maybe that would help.
  2. Most prize money, anyone?
  3. vrystaat, YOU can feel free here!
  4. Only differance is that a shorter cranck eccalerates faster (smaller pedalling diameter), longer cranks = more leverage (bigger diameter), so if you like being a diesel, keep to the longer crank. If you like sprinting and jumping, shorter.
  5. Relax and take it easy. You propably forget to breath at the start of yours intervals and hills, then halfway through your body remembers and then its too late. Just relax yourself at the start of hard sessions and consentrate more on your breathing and a bit less on how hard it is, should be and is going to be.
  6. The sad thing is that you put like 250g ekstra on the wheel, what do you really score then?
  7. You can fit an 11t mtb sproket, as long as it's also 8spd and as S2L said, you would have to change the lock ring as well, because the 11t sproket uses a smaller one. JA-Q0012008-11-27 02:30:31
  8. A good way to explain why you get 8spd and now 10spd is by using your car. if you have a 7spd ferrari, it goes fastest in its 7th gear, but you wont drop every 2nd gear and shift from 1st to 3rd to 5th to 7th. You even out the amount of jumps between the gears with more gears, thus a smaller drop and less shock on your engine (legs).
  9. So, whats on yours? I would love the new Giant, drool - drool, or even the new Time frame!
  10. Unfortionately most of the elite and u/23 riders that ride the events, dont ride for teams, dont earn a salary through cycling and are studying or working and then they are also trying to get into the pro ranks. most juniors that start u/23, do not start on a team! if they should start u/23- elite catagory and do races of 160km+, with no team, no backup and no experience, how many would continue? we would have 4teams racing, 3 teams trying to hang on and no place for youngsters to show what they actually got! Oh ja, hi. Im a new poster, but a long time reader.
