  1. So if I get the right headset for the Momsen, I would then be able to use the fork or am I wrong?
  2. Hi guys Okay to quickly sum up my story I am getting new frame for myself. But I am not sure if my old parts on my old bike will work on the new frame? First time I will be doing a build over, so please bare with me. Okay, my current bike is a Silverback Vida4 my new frame is a Momsen AL329. I want to take hopefully all of my parts from the Silverback Vida4 and put them on the Momsen AL329 if possible. I will provide the links with the two frame's, my Vida4 is perfectly standard so the website will do as far as knowing what is on my bike. Silverback Vida4: http://www.silverbac...CK/vida4_13.htm (click on the top left above the picture show specs to see what is what here.) Momsen AL329: http://www.momsenbikes.com/al329 The first thing I noticed is that headtube of the Momsen's frame is 10mm shorter? So please help me out here and tell me what I can put on the Momsen and what I would have to buy to make this work. Thanks a million!
  3. Well that is one way to do it
  4. Awesome thanks guys, it worked like a charm. I am a DIY type of guy, so I am still learning all about the trade. Thanks a million guys!
  5. Yeah the pads are a bit too close now. I will try this out tomorrow and get back to you guys. Thanks for the replies.
  6. Hi guys Was servicing my bike today and stupid me finish up everything and I flipped the bike over and in this action I pulled the front brake level without the wheel being in. Now I would like to know from you guys, how can I fix this problem now? Thanks
  7. Sorry for getting back to you after such a long time, I was away for University work. I am in the Moot in Waverly / Rietfontein. Which isn't too far away from you guys. Do you have a shop?
  8. Jip. worked like a charm. Shot man!
  9. Yeah it has caught my forearm before, and armpies mayhem you might just be right. Will get to you asap. Thanks guys
  10. Wazzaaapp Okay, so I am trying to adjust the disc brake levers on this bike here, but for some reason I am finding it hard to find the turning point to do so? I read up about the brakes, got an instructional image but I was not surprised when it was inaccurate. The disc brakes are Clarks Exo Hydraulic. I have attached images of the the levers, if that helps in anyway because the two levers are completely off with one another and the front brake lever is a bit too high. In the image I drew two arrows to indicate the difference in space between the lever and the bar. Thanks a lot
  11. Hope everything goes well over there man!
  12. Great place, will recommend. Needs a little more products online.
  13. Can't wait, watch the whole 2012 just for a marathon.
  14. Did your wife stop? And drivers for some reason don't seem to pay enough attention to be looking out for cyclists, just for other cars.

    Looks amazing, wow.
  16. Are you guys stationed in Centurion? Asking this because of the location on your profile. And also if not from where are they being shipped?
  17. People just think about money, and don't really care about values.
  18. Great clip, thanks for the share man.
  19. Yeah, I will be upgrading to something a bit better at a later stage, no doubt. But I prefer building up, it makes the spectrum of the hobby itself much larger, I don't only have a interest in riding but the bikes themselves as well, if that makes any sense. So, I will be upgrading this one and then at a later stage buy a frame or if I get a good deal for a frame buy the frame and take these components over to that frame.
  20. Hi Hubbers I am looking into the idea of upgrading my fork, but I am stuck at the which travel or what is the maximum travel for my frame? I read online a safe estimate would be around +10-20mm up from the standard fork. I have now decided to rather come here and ask for advice, where it feels safe. My bike is a Axis A70 2013 18" Medium, the standard fork is a SR SUNTOUR M2025 MLO with a sick 63mm travel. (Link to bike:) http://www.axis-bike...-and-trail/a-70 (Starting to get back into biking, got the bike for a solid deal. Looking to upgrade it as time goes on.) Thanks guys
