    It was in 2007. The garage I was going to leave it in suddenly became unavailable and I was out of options. It went far too cheaply at the time, and that just gets worse as more time passes. You've made me shed a fresh tear

    I had a Mk1 2 door GTi which I sold for R12k when I went to the UK. I still cry about it...

    I went out to the Isle of Wight a few years ago and they had a Vespa festival of some kind going on there. There were literally hundreds and hundreds of these old bike that had been ridden from all over the country and converged on the island - the whole island smelt of two stroke! It was awesome! Most of the bikes had serious work carried out on them and were spotless and full custom.     Why not fly down here and then ride it slowly back up camping along the way. Make an adventure trip out of it.

    I can't wait for the next season of Game of Thrones to start. I also watched all of them in one go, and my life felt empty when I got to the end. I wonder how they're all doing?

    There's something about a two door 'wagon' type car that really appeals to me

    That's pretty much it in terms of disappointments. But there's an extensive list of things that I've driven. Did you take it from the Lotus center at Silverstone? With the chequered flag on the side of the building? Love that place. Here's a pic of me drifting past it *note the tiny SA flag on the boot

    An Exige is like sitting on a couch in comparison Exige / Elise is second on my list of cars that I thought would be awesome and weren't what I expected.

    Those low cars might be cool to look at but they'd be terrible to drive. I used to think that GT40's were awesome cars until we built one in my workshop, and I then drove it around. Practically lying down while driving is not comfortable or cool and I ended up hating it.

    I only got half way through that video, but it's a pretty good example of why cyclists are hated by motorists. All of those red lights that you went through, riding across solid white lines and then drafting the truck with zero visability. You're the one giving the rest of us a bad name.
