  1. Hey Andrew, Can I buy the fake dogma frame? I'll give you R5k. PM me....
  2. Regarding Salsa Spearfish. Please pm me his number. MBP out
  3. The squeak has got foggol to do with the type of brakes. Rather the pad and disc surfaces. I'd say get some bog roll and alcohol solution or brake cleaner spray, clean the discs and pads, maybe rough the pads up with some sand paper on a flat piece of glass. If the squeak doesn't go away then take some more bog roll and stuff it in your ears. That will help immensely. Remember too that if you spray your bike with any lube keep it away from the brakes. Bye now.
  4. Glad you're ok, I was the first to arrive on the scene of your tumble. I was on a strava run and your daughter had left her little red bike in the middle of the trail, I tried to bunny hop it and carry on at full tilt screaming "STRAVA!!!" but then you were also parked in the middle of the trail. Most inconsiderate. Next time you fall make sure you do it where okes can get past in a hurry. On an even more serious note, when I ask you if you're ok and you reply "Nnoooooooooaohghhoo, my bacccckkkkgh" And then I ask if we can call the medics and you say "nnoooooooooaaaghhgh, I just need to lie down" That's not cool, you had a f*#@%king broken back oke. That's not funny. The mark that your helmet left on your forehead was funny but not your serious injuries. At the Northern Farms clubhouse there are the "Move" medics. We should all remember they are there to help us. As for your little girl, she was amazingly calm for the situation. Hope your injuries heal quickly. Lecture over.
  5. XX or XX1.....the you can go gripshift. Your life will change for the better.
  6. "allows muscles to grow twice as fast"......if we talking about my calves, 2 x zero is still zero.
  7. My opinion. Maybe the mud has worn the teeth of the chain rings into the shape of a breaking wave. This makes a hook and wont release the chain off the chain ring. What I've done in the past to extend the life of the chain ring is to take a nail file and smooth off the "hook" on each tooth. It takes about ten minutes of toil but no more chain suck. Bye.
  8. Is Avianto the only place or is someone cutting some new stuff?
  9. Banana Mageu before, energy bar, banana, droe wors, jelly babies. In that order. That's probably why I'm *** slow.
  10. PM Gnarly, he does his skelm training there during the week and knows all the trails. He is the strongest, leanest, most gifted rider I know so be warned...... it may hurt.
  11. Dunno about the cable but my only advice would be to clean and lube that mofo deraillier
  12. I get it in winter mornings, I use over the counter astavent and it helps.
  13. Yissie,I hope the okes at PYGA redo their sums cos a join like that is bound to fail on a high load part like that. If I wasn't a patriot I'd have some *** things to say.
  14. Ja Gnarly, you see me once in 2 years on the spruit and I'm a skelm trainer.....
  15. Two people should be pi$$ed off. YOU should be at the useless appi twat that tried to sort out your vrou's brakes. And your vrou should be angry with you for not noticing that her brake pads were shot after she complained about them. It's not aeronautical engineering ffs.
  16. The bigger the problem the bigger the hammer......
  17. Did this for a week around Rhodes, just south of Lesotho.
  18. And my personal favourite - Duckworths Dargle Delight (DDD)
  19. Neil Petersen aka Gnarly. I've never seen 95kg move so fast.....
  20. Is that the same as a Hobo Assed Ho?
  21. Come on....admit it...you didn't really remove the seat post too?
  22. Standing up peddledaling is genetic. If you can't do it with ease on your first day you will never be able to do. I suggest you get a comfy saddeledel and remain seated on all your rides.
  23. I had the same thing after Tour de tuli. Turns out I had a little bushman jammed in my front derailler.
  24. I've used RRalph snakeskins on the rear for a while now. Only negative is that I seem to have to run them a bit harder if I'm riding fast flowing single track like at van gaalens river section. It's not that the tyre loses grip but the soft-ish sidewall collapses under lateral load and doesn't inspire confidence. Tar chows them. Bye.
