What really amazed me was the number of riders in the Cradle out for the training ride and not participating in the race.The poor racing guys had to dodge these riders.Why not join the race and support the people who put these races on.You are in the area and doing the same route.Come on guys lets support the races.

Only one shop to go to Tour de Frans.Not always the cheapest but "THE BEST SERVICE EVER"Prices are always fair and advise spot on.Keep up the good work guys

This is just absolutley tragic.I suppose the cops will cover this one up somehow.I just dont believe that this happens on a well known cycling road,surely the cops knew this but couldnt give a continental.When will we some action given to cycling lanes.

I was astounded to find out that the vets have to pay 250 euro to enter next years worlds in Maritzburg.This after all the expenses already incured to qualify to ride for your country.I think it is an absolute disgrace that these riders are not sudsidised in any way whether it be travel or accomodation.Do you really think that the riders will ride for their country or themselves.I bet the overseas riders are supported in some way or other.Maybe MR Till will surprise us!!!!!!!!!.In most other sports it is an honour to ride for your country,or are the vets seperate from the Elites.Amazing how Elite were able to ride in the 40+ race,wonder who they were riding for.

I think the race race itself was really well organised.Despite having 5 punctures i was able to finish albiet a lot later than i would have liked,thanks to the support of the Cycleshere guys.As far as the goodie bags are concerned get used to it they are a thing of the past.Maybe a water bottle or suchlike would be a good idea.I will be back to race.Just a pity only 3000 odd participants when there were over 10000 entrants.The road back to JHB on Monday looked like all the cyclists came from JHB LOL.I will be back

I am a diebetic and tried it for the first time on the weekend.Dont know if it was the fitness improving or the product but felt like i could ride for another couple of hours after a three hour ride.Hope it is a bit of both.

Why are the prize monies changed at the last minute.This happened at Emperors and now at the Berg and Dale.Dont say it was because the top teams were not represented because they were.Can anyone add some light.

When are we going to be able to get road closure for races as they do in Europe.Surely it cant be that difficult to organise.My thoughts and prayers to the family

I was amazed at a comment made by a senior riders father after his son had not won the race.The comment went on the lines that the winner had not worked,yet the winner was the one who went on several breaks,albiet that his son went on a 45km break but could not stay away.To him i say get over it and learn to lose in the right spirit.To the orginises i say well done.

I agree.If some shops are running their operations better than others why should they be protected.Its the same in any business if you do it right.right price and right service levels why should the others be protected Maybe some people believe they are bigger than the sport itself and are not in it for the sport.Try Johnsons cycles in Edenvale great prices and even better service.
