Watching the swimming, I noticed a lot of teenagers competing for top positions - I think the youngest I saw was 14? Even the skateboarders had winners in the low teens! How do you even identify those athletes at such a young age? Do those countries have national high performance olympic sport centers to develop them? Are they government funded/supported?

You would have to be of a certain age group to catch that...

My SO is on discovery vitality and has now got an e-bike. We are not sure if e-bike rides count towards points etc. as a normal bike would? Can she mark her rides as e-bike and still get the rewards?

Also listening keenly as my SO is also considering getting herself an e-bike to ride with me.

I would think going from a Cruiser to a Hi-lux is de-evolution? I mean you could fit a much bigger caliber like a .50cal, with its ammo drum on the cruiser and take 10 of your fellow ters for a joyride. A Lux would struggle with that...

I'm in for attempt number 12! We are driving up by car as the Ariamsvlei and Noordoewer border posts have been opened and you need a negative certificate not older than 72 hours. If you are flying, get a bike box from your LBS, chuck the bike in and you're good to go. Note T-Boss' suggestions as well. I've flown up twice with the bike in a box and had no issues...
