  1. Never been much of a salad person but that looked pretty good. As did the pizza. Stoked for you and Wendy!
  2. Aside from Carel Dup and AC probably the coach that made the strangest decisions. Great when it worked, absolutely awful when it didn't.
  3. Misread the article I saw when I googled him. My bad.
  4. CSA may have misspelt the guy's surname as Essa is definitely a South African cyclist riding for Team Asrin according to the very short Google search I did. Also if it is that guy then he has won the mixed category of the Cape Epic with Cathrine Williamson a few years ago.
  5. SA rugby magazine shared this stats report from Fox Sports Aus on Facebook. If you go by the numbers then South Africa shouldn't have lost the match. That we did is testament to the fact that it isn't how much possession or territory you have or how many passes you throw and phases you put together it is how good a collective use you make of all those aspects. The Boks need to be smarter and more accurate going forward.
  6. Beauden Barrett was pretty damn brilliant this morning. Top class flyhalf. His play making the real difference between the AB'S and the Wannabies. Shut Barrett down and you give yourself a chance. Problem is that the AB'S have another class playmaker in Mackenzie. But any real chance of upsetting the AB's start with having the upper hand amongst the forwards and forcing their star playmakers into uncharacteristic mistakes. Far easier said than done. On a good side note: great to see Owen Franks getting his White Cap after the match!
  7. Bauden Barrett with an excellent individual try for his hattrick and to all but seal another easy win against the Wannabies.
  8. All Blacks looking a tad bit better than last week but still a bit 'sleepy'. Link is the stats at half time. https://www.rugbypass.com/live/the-rugby-championship/new-zealand-vs-australia-at-eden-park-on-25082018/2018/stats/
  9. Cap, I think the Irish might be very happy to hear that they are the AB'S 'B' squad. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
  10. Presies!
  11. I think Keohane might've been hitting the herb a little too hard. https://keo.co.za/the-springboks-will-beat-the-all-blacks-when-they-meet-this-year/
  12. I 100% agree. Although I am definitely looking at this season through the lense of what has happened in the previous two, the Boks are showing signs of a revival. The road awaits. Victories in Argentina and Australia will go a long way to help the national cause and help the psyche of our main internationals for next year's Super Rugby tournament. I am far from expecting the Boks to beat the AB'S in NZ but I reckon if we can get those away victories I have mentioned earlier and they play well in NZ perhaps just perhaps the Boks will have sufficient cause to believe a home win against them is possible. Let's get the AB'S worried that a win against the Boks here is not a given will be the way to getting away victories against them.
  13. The Bok Captain and Coach at very least making the right kind of statements in public. Hopefully the same is being said behind closed doors and that we indeed get the better performances across the board from them. https://www.sarugbymag.co.za/boks-seek-sharper-showing/
  14. So yesterday was a decent win with a decent performance from the Boks. The best I've seen them be for a while. Still a lot required before we can think to say there's a genuine revival happening. Line outs need to be better our passing as well and with less errors. Line speed in defense was ok as well but I felt that our first time tackles weren't what they could've been. And then there's the not so small fact that Pollard left his kicking boots at home. A full 15 points went a begging from the kicking tee. However fairly satisfied that this team would be ready and able to be far more competitive in Australisia this year and hopefully home wins against the Aussies and AB's, although the latter is far more improbable than probable.
  15. I found this to be an interesting article when I first read it. Once again it underlines the importance of taking any head injury or potential head injury seriously. https://www.sarugbymag.co.za/how-tough-tackle-sanctions-impact-the-game/ Don't be misled by the article descriptor, it's far more about the importance of the HI Assessment tool match day officials and medical staff have and the need for it to be refined further.
  16. Ullrich, Kloden, Basso all came second to LA during that time. All admitted to doping. In Kloden's case it was a silent admission via a fine payment made to German Cycling authorities. And in the tour thread you may not have been chirping G but that is how it came across. That along with no evidence to suggest wrong doing is also just plain wrong. That said do I think that the current peloton is 100% clean or 100% ethical? Absolutely not. But it does appear to be a damn sight better than it was during the Armstrong years. 17. Hey Bro iirc Titan has a mountain bike that's under 5k new. Otherwise I would suggest looking at the classifieds to find a second hand bike that could work for you. Check out your size by riding demo bikes at bike shops that offer such a service. Quite a few do. Additionally get yourself a helmet and padded mountain bike shorts. That's your basic kit sorted. Cricket......

Finally convinced me that he can play at test level. Good innings from him and well supported by Bavuma. Pity their partnership couldn't last until well past lunch. Liked what I saw in their partnership. Combined well with each other. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk

As it is Faf and Vern are showing a bit of spine at the moment. Let's hope that they can keep it up. We need a really really big partnership from them if we are to stand a chance in this test. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk

    Cricket......

We at 51/6 currently. Bavuma top scorer with 17, so far. Faf and Vern batting now. This is rather mortifying. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk

    Cricket......

Sri Lanka got them two down for 92 after 26 overs. Rabada and Shamsi with a wicket each. Maharaj and Shamsi have did most of the bowling before lunch. Also two changes from our last Test against Aus, Shamsi in for ABdV and Steyn in for Morkel. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk
  22. I work in the offshore industry and the ship I am on has very limited WiFi when we are out to sea. Nonetheless I was able to get Giro stage results from my Dad who is almost as big a bike nut as me. Ryan scored a top 5 on stage 13 according to the whatsapp I got from him. The stage win went to Viviani. Not a bad result imho. Ryan is still young with lots to learn. The talent is there though and I'm sure he'll get a breakout win at some point. Hoping for sooner rather than later. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk
  23. Mmmmm if that's the case then it would be most likely that his cardiac arrest caused the crash. Guess we will have to wait until the coroner gives his verdict. However has anyone seen the beautiful eulogy that Van Aert gave Goolaerts on IG? That says much about both imho. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk
  24. There's a couple of scenarios that could've played out here. Beyond the sad circumstances of his hospitalization and passing we won't know for sure exactly how this occured. Ride in Peace Michael Goolaerts. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk
  25. And I was like yeahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sagz is just such an unbelievable racer to watch and enough of a sportsman that had he lost to Dillier he would still have congratulated him. He has a sense of perspective that maybe the rest don't and we pick up on that to a degree. Sent from my SM-J200H using Tapatalk
