Out gravelling with @ridr this morning . Some nice Exploro ing ???? sun valley road getting a resurface , although not tar apparently.

I have been thinking about riding there. But getting up even earlier is just meh ????...so swartkoppies, up past ppc and round the back of mall of the south . Am sure NSBB will ride there, right mate ?

And @NotSoBigBen would now. He has many many tools for so many different jobs . But agree on the road bike . Love the speed you get on a road bike .

@Stretched@Birth I had, been back a few months . Visas & Covid restrictions scuppered our plans,added to the mix kids schooling . At least I earnt a few squid . 1st 1/4 next year hopefully .

Thaba is always a challenge , the elevation gain you can squeeze into a ride is insane .

What is the total ascent ? Presume it’s 94.7 km still. Anyone have the route ?

I feel exactly the same ,although not sure i am fit enough for a suffer fest and my head certainly isn't in the game to go to the hurt locker for 3hrs .The last race I did was 94.7 2018. Think there seeding is a little generous ( reads sadistic) . Can you just drop back or do you have to officially apply? Waiting for a mate to get his email for his group .
