i’ll ask Trailer Park for some more pics .It’s a very sweet build he has done. Frame is brand new and the red is spectacular, especially in the sun. Group set is super record Enve bar & stem (was supposed to be Deda but SA customs held up a shipment ) Deda elementi wd45 Carbon clinchers It’s rides so smooth & carries speed so well it’s something quite special. Not the best climber at 8,5kg but oh so worth the penalty everywhere else. JMK1 did the build .

This is my nipper (sister in the background)last year at the race. And on the way home. They desperately wanted to do it again this year but unfortunately was the same time as football. Anything to keep them of iPads the like and out the malls and on any field of sport . Good for you giving him his racing instinct and wanting to win. It keeps them interested in my mind. My son is football mad ,to point he often gets into trouble for kicking the ball in the house or breaking the wifes plants. But the kid in me is always smiling at him. Especially when he takes his ball to bed. Am a massive supporter of kids doing sport . It’s kids races like this that need to be supported to keep kids wanting to ride there bikes and do sport !

i would testify to that,my daughter used to do show jumping. Makes most sports look cheap by comparison. And injuries are horrendous ????

Enough said ....if my son enjoys any sport he partakes in i’m happy. I agreed to pay for it before i entered him.

And they put everyone else at risk as well,not just themselves. Couple of guys rode there regardless of everyone shouting at them . Cars had to go half dirt half road. They will be the 1st to moan if this effects road races negatively and get cancelled or something similar .

My legs don’t allow for me to compete,or my lungs or my head or my ...nah can’t blame my ♣️ She’s well up for it.

He stopped his bike on the line itself. How nobody went down I don’t know . Lots of swerving and sudden braking . He should of warned the guys over the line . Some cars & trucks werent exactly crawling along either . Why would you ride on the wrong side and take that chance . And endanger the rest of us in the process. The 1st guy not the 2nd...but I think he stalled the bike ?? Seemed like he was trying to get it restarted?

Must of been my lucky day, I just missed the motorbike twice . One had stalled and the other had stopped, earlier rode over a dropped bottle . The guys at the front where pulling hard. Myself and a few others (15 or so) got dropped at the right turn by the four way stop and we had to push hard to get back on. The group was large until the end .

Tough race today. Dropped back a group as have been strugggling lately. Battled to hang on from km one. Got dropped early and managed to get back on. Held on till 80km left turn,then blew up and suffered all the way home. My toughest race to date by far. Was cursing on the drive home all the way. With my mate laughing at me , must of dropped my ???? On the 1st climb ????

Respect for doing that climb,even more so getting the missus to agree to it and follow through . Am ???? With envy looking at that scenery . Agree with your sentiments on the epic a 1000% Have a jol ???????? & look forward to more pics .
