  1. it was that red mist , clouded my vision and rattled that pea . Luckily I saw my one horned goat looking forlorn in the corner,a swift pk to the chops knocked the pea back into place . All good now ???? Apologies to all drunken olives & smashing pumpkins, I shall not veer of my evil path again ????
  2. Awesome, obviously all healed up. Tell him howzit for me ????
  3. Is Bibi still active on here .....come on b show us your evil ????
  4. yea a momentary lapse of f’ing madness . Getting caught up in the race game . I have repeatedly punched myself in the face for this indiscretion ????
  5. At nelspruit with the guys from Trailtech. Craig’s angry dolphin calling , trailer parks green following my drunken beaut and a few knollys and 2 yt’s, what a blast , riding parts of the York enduro course. ‘The sweetest thing’ run was 11 min of pure grin inducing hysterical fun . And playing at Thaba .
  6. My drunken olive beaut. Industry 9 ally wheels and maxxis wheels for playing in the rocks . And derby on i9’s for longer distances with lighter tyres . The one up tool in the steerer tube with the one up pump attached to the bottle cage is ingenious and so easy to carry . After 5 months of owning this bike , I have just started playing with the low speed compression on the shock and it has made a difference to the pedal efficiency . It’s definitely stiffer in the first part of the travel and feels like it grips better on the rocks helping it climb the proper steep stuff with so much grip it ridiculous.
  7. Dude that’s proper close to mine with the blue . I have the decals on the fork.
  8. such a sweet looking ride ????
  9. ????????????...he just wants to excel, regardless of what sport he does . And all of his own making ????????
  10. Awesome ride with my buddy,he gets so excited when he rides a tricky section . I’m sure he’s gonna be a good climber ✊️ He loves stopping & looking at the wildlife. He did an awesome 11.6km at thaba, a pretty tough ride for a 6yr old.
  11. we couldn’t of had better weather to be honest . Am very thankful.
  12. Agreed, many memories I will have for ever as well ????
  13. I’d apologize but was way to much fun. It was my 1st stage race and I would highly recommend this adventure to anyone to pop your stage racing cherry. What a world class event . You want for nothing and everything runs like clockwork. Truly an unforgettable experience.
  14. A few pics from Sani2c ,what an adventure . Was very skeptical as got a very late entry which fortuitously just fell into my lap. I had never ridden more than 80kms on my mnt bike before and never done back to back long distance so was worried about the 96km 2nd day. It was tough ,proper tough . But hell what a ride. As for the saying you get stronger as you go, it’s true ,weird but true. What an absolute blast & such a privilege & pleasure to able ride these trails with such stunning views. The weather played ball completely and it was hot but sooooo awesome . As for iconic on day 2 omf it’s insane ????, but would suffer it again & again just to ride the drop in the Umkomaas Valley, no words can describe it.
  15. Usual great service from evo bikes. Ordered cassette on Thursday at 14h00. Explained to Chelsea my urgency as needed for sani. She said she would go her best . 10am the next morning it was there . They have my vote with service like that .
  16. Doing the trail as a late late fill in with no sani training . 1st stage race so not gonna be racing it, just enjoying it and the taking in the vibe. Am hoping my usual haunt of thaba will help me a little on the climbs . As for the distance, only time will tell. Never done more than a single 80 km monster or 75km ashubrtin vg. Should be fun...hoping those road Km’s come in handy ???? Good luck to all and keep the rubber side down .
  17. it sounds like an adventure story ???????? .....exploring on the bike, just awesome.
  18. @ nerd, dude you missed out yesterday . This responsibility thing has to end .
  19. My most chilled serene place,Barry’s point at the top of Thaba. No better place to enjoy that banana bread or doughnut just sitting on the rock staring out yonder. Makes any ride worth the climb up there . Then thump it down to the bottom ✊️...
  20. ???? like jet fuel ????
  21. Sbr with trailer park and his brother, with his new Concorde 53/39 with 11/25 9 speed outback. Proper steel heavyweight . He loved every minute of it,well mostly I think. It’s only his 3rd time on a road bike. Big bloody Kudos to him ????.....these converted runners ????
  22. Not today but this week. Brilliant morning ride .
  23. Damn unhappy to be missing it this year . My fav race by far .
  24. Thats what’s cycling is about for us mere mortals, never giving up and getting to the finish. Awesome to see a pro with that kind of mentality. For the love of cycling ????????
  25. Of the beaten track...
