  1. Wes, I live in Wellington. It is awesome here. Wind blows on average about 60km/h and there are LOTS of hills. Auckland weather is much like Cape Town. 4 seasons in one day. Wellington is more consistent. Wayne, if you are keen to check out Wellington, PM me and I will send you my mobile number. Thanks
  2. The top looks like a Newcastle and Juventus football club.
  3. In the past I have had Mavic's and Eastons. Both great wheels, but I did find the Mavics on the heavier side. I preferred riding the Eastons until I discovered Fulcrums. I find the Fulcrums to be a good all rounder wheel.
  4. I generally take my hand off the bar, leave it parallel to the bar and I stretch my fingers. Times I nod my head, if the road is too busy or many cyclist around. Other times I ignore, for safety reasons or if I am concentrating/in a zone.
  5. When one adds pedals, computer and bottlecages, the weight could still be under 5kg's. Impressive.
  6. Got rid of my clinchers last year September. Since thenI only ride with tubbies. Have not regretted the switch. In approx 8000km's I picked up 3 punctures. Two of those punctures came from tires that were worn out. After close inspection I could see tire carcass coming through the rubber. The other puncture came from the conti giro tubby. I do not recommend that tire as my experience was it is not a positive. I currently use gatorskin sprinters and I am happy with them. I don't use any sealant. Don't understand why people are so afraid of tubbies. Count how many times you puncture a year. That number you can probably count on one hand. I strongly recommend switching to tubbies.
  7. Here is a suggestion, not sure if it is possible. In order to have a bank account open, one needs to be FICA approved. Try calling the bank and see if you are able to get his fica information or find out what is the process for getting his information.
  8. I hope that this is not just another scam. If so, where has the trust, integrity and honesty gone.
  9. Solomons has them on special for R2000. They normally retail around R3500. Awesome helmet
  10. Water every time, I rarely drink frizzy drinks.
