Hi guys I have been needing to change my frame for some time now I ride a 56cm S6 and am looking for a 54cm.. Tho these seem very hard to come by! Tho there are many other Speedster frame varients available in 54cm for me. How do these compare to the S2? And Raleigh frames are also quite common How would these compare size-wise and what size should I be looking to get if I go with a Raleigh? Thanks

Elasticated ties work quite well Two does the trick. One for the rear wheels and frame and the other for the front wheels

The traffic situation was terrible indeed! WRT the timings... Its quite strange. We were a group of 11 cyclists that travelled together ranging from L thru to Q groups. Arrived late cos of the traffic and started in the U group. But all our times were spot on and we were all recorded as U group. My Polar measured a 4h02 and racetec put me at 4h01 One thing I picked up tho is that whether you start at the front of the group or at the back, you start time is the start time givem to the group. Cos I started about 5 seconds behind a friend and we crossed the finnish line side by side and got the same time

Ok narrowing down the problem Regreased the pedal-axle connection (with wheel bearing grease) But halfway thru the ride on saturday the creaking noise returned It seems to be coming from the headset cos everytime I take my hands (weight) off the handlebars, the noise stops So... Now any suggestions?

Any particular grease type preferred? If not please suggest something that is readily available Thanks

Lol!!!! Some nice and varying advice! Will start with lubing my cleats and pedals with Q20 Then will check my saddle if it still persists And ill take it to have it checked at a bike shop Ps. When you guys refer to the pedal axle, is that the same as the BB?

Howsit guys During my ride over the weekend bike started making a tickinh/creaking noise. On investigation I found it to happen at a particular part of my pedal revolutuon If I get off the bike and turn the crank, there is no noise Now I don't really tinker with the components on my bike, but was told that I should have the crank "regreased" Person told me that the bolts in the crank need to be loosened and regreased Is that correct or could it be some other issue? try the cape storm nitrous - its their new top of the range and they have it on introductory special for R565 - thats about R70 more than their matrix shorts that everyone raves about bought one to thy it out. went to buy another in the week really nice but i suppose it also comes down to personal preference and personal body contour/fit - thats what matters most. how it works for you

im using FF 3.5.3 and have had no problems even managed 254Kb download speeds yesterday (freeking insane! a once in 2 lifetime occurrence!) so either your FF was old (which i doubt is the problem) your ISP was having issues or your PC's were runnin things in the background unbeknownst to you ps...
