  1. Damn Hubbers hope this is even in the correct forum although i seriously doubt this aswell, see i told you all im technology challenged and you lot thought i was joking.
  2. Afternoon All, Okay so im not all that when it comes to IT computers ...yes its the twentieth century and stuff but im challenged, that's my excuse and im sticking to it . I need to take my FB page and make another one for a Cycling Team that I have put together, this must be accessible by the public to see race events results and photos, but needs to be under the Team name and not my personal name. Please I really need some advice and assistance here, i even tried to follow the freakin steps and that didn't work got to the point where it asks for a email address, i add that and it says no a valid address, yet when you check it, it works perfect. Please will someone that is computer savvy assist a fool trying to be a hero in his kids and friends eyes cause after all that's what our team is a bunch of Family and Friends. Thanks guys and please try not rag the ballie to much. Please in box me if you could assist as i fear if given directions i may just create a catastrophic failure....heck i could be blamed as the guy who destroyed technology and the internet point.
  3. Firstly, i was never trying to have a pissing contest, you asked i answered, if you don't like the answer don't ask the question, Secondly, i respect SA the law and all, but i guess you have never been so angry and wanted to do something or even said something, and thought damn that was seriously stupid, Thirdly, your right i don't know you or what you know about anything, the same can be said about you not knowing me, so i suggest for the sake of all the wonderful and amazing people on this forum and site, lets just agree to disagree, you have your opinion and i have mine, may never be the same, but know i will always respect your view and input.
  4. Just fir the record i am also no average Joe, i have done armed escorts for courier companies and been on alot of courses and done armed response courses aswell, i am aware of the law and when and when not to use my firearm, thank God i have never had too, but its something you would clearly never understand.
  5. fact is i have had a gun many years been on self defense classes, and all that, but until you experience (and i pray you don't), some a hole almost take your kid out then get arrogant and challenge you while picking your child up off the road, and then he carries on with you and you walk to him and he continues and then drives away, and that red mist is there then we will talk again, mess with me its cool hurt me its cool, hurt my wife kids you mess with the devil and will get hurt point. I am the first to promote gun safety and im a level headed freak, but don't mess with my family or hurt them cause them humanity leaves the soul and frankly the bastard comes out.
  6. I have a secure specialised moon bag that you wear the Glock fits snug in a compartment that hoses a holster and that is secure that in turn is covered with velcro, it is totally concealed and secure, cant go off and cant come off your body, its a heavy duty secure system around the waste, its made for 9mm, Glock and 6 shooters, sounds complicated and a long process, but can be in your hand and out the pouch in under 2 seconds, i have used this many times and have had zero issues, got it many years ago in gun shop in Kempton Park.
  7. okay im drooling damn thats a fine machine, one day when im big i want that....lol
  8. Ive decided from now its me my bike the sun and MR GLOCK, im finished with these absolute mad fools, seriously, read of this every day, and yes there is alot of cyclists out there that do stuff to upset motorists, but there are alot of good cyclist taking the wrap for BS, my son was almost taken out the smorning while training with me, cause a fool cut the corner to beat the robot, the driver then throws zaps and drives off, he can be so damn lucky Glock was locked away. (Sorry i hi jacked the post), but i have decided enough is enough POINT

  12. whats with the LBS doing this, I sent my pride and joy in and prior to that I was mailed a quote and everything, drove 200km on a Saturday morning as Vryburg doesn't have a bike shop, arrived and should have known leave it, my bike was taken and left in the front of the shop by the door leading onto a road, i stood the owner came and asked me whats wrong I pointed out the obvious, that he has a sign saying not liable for loss or theft or damages, yet they leave my bike at the door, he chuckled took the bike and walked away, about an hour later got a call there was a issue with my chain, granted not quoted I said please replace, another hour later was told my disc brakes had oil on them and had damaged the rotors, i said hell no, went to the shop. All of a sudden the brakes were fine no slipping no noise no oil nothing (they wanted to charge me R300.00 for pads and R750.00 for rotors), im no professional so i dont require the absolute best, however when it came to paying the bill was all of a sudden R1940.00 as a pose to R1100 plus a chain, i asked WTF (annoyed with everything and my wife blowing steam out of every orifice of her body), was told they replaced the break cables / pipes and that's R280.00 a meter. i asked what for there was no problem, asked to see the old stuff guess what was thrown away and cleared convenient. The attitude was pay or dont get your bike, it was closing time so i paid and left with my bike, I swear i will never support that so called LBS ever again, that service cost me over R2600.00 in future i will drive to Bloemfontein to Cycle World to Jean and his crew where i know i am always treated as Royalty even though im just a guy loving cycling. Please excuse my laymen terms for bike parts and so forth as i said im no damn pro but i love the feeling and the freedom of the outdoors.
  13. Wow, talk about friendship and standing together, now this is a world i want to be part of, saw the BS, and thought what a damn pot of bull, i dont know the seller, but i do know no one in their right mind would do what was claimed, just happy its over and done.....if not i know people who know people who know even worse people, sure we could work this out somehow....lol

THE ABSOLUTE SAD, The Man the legend Burry Stander, no matter how long ago this still brings a lump to my throat a tear to the eye, I follow Cherise Stander on Facebook, and dont know how she finds the strength to deal with this, i was not connected to Burry in any way other than Mountain Biking but the impact he has had on my life is simply amazing, Thank you Champ, Gone never ever to be forgotten. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/2f/XC_MTB_17_Stevage.jpg/730px-XC_MTB_17_Stevage.jpg
