    The Palos is quite popular overseas,been looking for One for a while now but agents in SA can't even return Emails. Now there is the Palos4LR as well. According to Camelbak site this one is the normal Palos not the 4LR

    You can never get the best of both long lasting with HUGE amount of grip.For you the Crossmark might be the best tire for your type of riding but they might not work for other lots of factors when it comes to tires. For me it's about grip and sidewall strength,as long as I have that I am happy so griiiip for days is my cup of tea.

    Eish price hectic for that build and the frame is nothing special.

    Don't even bother with Karkloof now half the trail are closed until JAN next year,they are harvesting now I see.

    Maybe in Jozi and CPT you see the same bike as what everyone else rides but I know for a fact that I have the only Spitty in KZN so for now I am individual.

    So you need to make a plan and ride Karkloof and Howick when you down.

    Scary thought,Banshee,Evil and Knolly sells a lot of their bike models out long before the new year models come out because they are just so damn awesome. But the R/$ is killing them here in SA,the bigger companies have more buying power as well. You have to consider if you want something that everyone is riding or something individual,unfortunately individuality costs money.

    If you can fit one,I am looking for one of those hip packs at the moment that carries a bottle and your basics.I saw a cool one that Mavic had at Eurobike.

    No I know it's Friday and that will get a lot of guys backs up every person has their own preference,I prefer a pack myself just cause it has everything in it that I need in there. Also my bike is like the Codeine and the suspension design does not allow for any bottles but that is a very small trade off for a awesome bike.

    Bottles are for race snakes/marathon riders,enduro riders use packs,good luck keeping a bottle in your cage on some trails.
