Do I need to upgrade my CSA membership to a racing license to enter this? Cant seem to enter on the website at the moment.

Jaco, it's going to be a lekker ride, and take u into some amazing spots. U know me, and I like rough and technical stuff, this route is going to test good riders, and might be to much for novices. If rouxenator has info that Natie has changed the route, then I am mistaken, but I know his original route well. I also rode last year and nothing is the same this year, except the 1st and last few kms.

are they going to stick to Natie's new single track anti-clockwise around the dam? The majority of ppa fun riders can ride that.

The route has changed drastically from last year. Climbing of 1350 seems about right. I am looking forward to reading the comments after the race...pack ur hiking shoes...

I have just entered. My 1st enduro race! Pretty excited. I haven't ridden delvera in years, is it acceptable to go for a chilled cruise on the trails on Friday afternoon, is is that a no no in enduro circles?

???? Yes, finished 4th on the 30km trail run, so was lucky enough to take the overall win. The wife is very excited.

What an awesome event. The vibe and effort that the organizers put in was phenomanal! The Mtb route was great, well marked and marshalled. The trail run was even better, such a diverse route. Will definitely make this a annual thing.

We are making a weekend of this one. Mtb Saterday morning, fishing comp in the afternoon and the 30km trail run on Sunday. The only problem is that I won't be back in time for the bokke game on saterday.

Hey Milky, so you have been using it for a while now, still think its worth the R1500? I am keen to give it a try, I have to try keep up with Fandacious and he is putting in some serious hours.

Its the easiest 50km out there, nice rolling gravel roads and only 1 big climb at the start. 7 years ago that bike was awesome, it will handle it without any problem.

I will be there doing the 80km mtb, its an awesome event and I think one of the easier 80km out there. Sticking around for the Featherbed trail run on Tuesday as well. I will be pouring wine at the Knysna Festival Wine Show on Monday and Tuesday night, Lithos Wines, come say hi. Dont forget about the Gardenroute trail park night ride on Sunday!

That sucks, sorry. Where did it happen? Up on the Schapenberg trails or above High Riding. How did they stop you and what weapons did they have? I ride there a lot by myself so just need a little more info. Thanks.

So my brother never met up with our scapel selling friend. They were supposed to meeting at 4:30 yesterday which never happened and when my brother phoned him at 6:30 he was in a VERY important meeting and he would call him back. My feeling is it is a scam and let it go...Warren is still going to try get hold of him, there are a few very passionate mtbing farmers out there that dont like this sort of thing.

Unfortunately I am related to that bunch, Warren, the guy you were most likely dealing with is my brother...the dealership has been in the family for 4 generations. Anyway, Warren is meeting with the chap this afternoon apparently, and he will let me know what happens.

U passed me on the last climb and we had a quick chat at the finish, I ended up with a 6:23 and 71st overall. The last 2 climbs killed me, had nothing left to give and was bordering on cramping all the way home. Cant wait for next year!

I had such a fun time out there, no mechanicals or bails. Cycled with Cherise Stander for a while. She had a hard fall on the rocky descent before the spur water point, got up and continued riding. I think she pulled out about 10km later. Greg, where u being crazy and riding with 1 gear?
