Heading up to George on Friday from somerset west and returning on Sunday in a empty car, any hubbers need bikes or people transported up or down. Going up in a fortuner with 1 bike on the 3 bike rack, seems a waste.

Hi Guys! My brother-in-laws bike was stolen from our house just outside Somerset West on the Sir Lowrys side last night. Its a Large Giant Anthem x29er 1, 2012 model. it was bought in Gillets, KZN and still has the bike shop sticker on it. if you are in the area please keep your eyes open and give me a call on 072 5621 231 if you see anything. Yes, Results are really a joke, there were just to many options for ppl to bail out. If you wanted to do the whole route you could have, I think guys just got gatvol and blamed it on the organizers. I feel the organizers did the best they could with the time they had, and hopefully next year they slightly better prepared. It was a awesome challenge! hard on the bike though.

How about a Sunday afternoon hub get together to have a look where the new line is. I have lived in Somerset west for 18months now and my DH bike has been hanging on the wall for that exact amount of time as well. Need to find some local spots.

I have just entered and paid. Doing the "Ride" with my wife. 1st timers, so we looking forward to it. Now my wife just needs to get over her knee injury that has kept her sidelines for 2 months so that we can start training!

Unfortunetly I am away this week, normally I could be there by 3 on a fri. Weather is looking good for the weekend. Enjoy

Hi Guys, I would love yo join you guys for a pedal as well, I live in the Wedderwill Country Estate so the trails are in my backyard. After hearing about the bike-jacking I am not that keen to push my luck anymore. Let me know if you are heading out, unfortunately I work standard hours so it will have to be before or after work.

And I was the lucky recipient... Did my first race on it last wkend. A huge step up from my stumpy 26er HT. and it's very rewarding building a bike up from scratch.

We used contour cameras at whistler, it's a lot sleeker than the gopro and the video quality is just as good. There is also Drift camera which have the built in displays and also come with 1080hd recording.

Hi there. I broke my egg beaters today, 1 of the 4 clips broke off. the pedals are about 1 and half years old. Does anyone know if you can fix them some how or should I toss it?
