Have you perhaps seen the price of a Campy 11 speed chain replacement pin?? Around R110 a pop! Very nice but you got to have cash to burn! Next time somebody orders from CRC put in an order for replacement Campy cablesets and pop them in a cupboard (this also helps avoid interim inevitable proce increases)..............

A 10 speed chain is not compatible with a 9 speed cassette.......also the chain length is irrelavent to the drivetrain speed number but has to do with excess slack.

Can't really say?! The bits of paint that have chipped off my bikes shows only shiny nickel beneath! Perhaps have a chat with Cycleart maybe for some tips mate?

A lot of the Italian steel bikes were completely nickel plated prior to the paintwork. Both my Battaglin and Tommasini are like this.
