Don't just do energy bars, take something like a sarmie with!Drink Rehidrate after the stage (as previously mentioned) I had 3 different shammy types (Nalini, Vermarc x 2 and Anatomic Gold). It helped.Shammy cream is NB. I also used Blue Steel anti-chaffing cream.Loose the Zipps, or maybe keep them for the TT. On the stages you might just loose them as there are a LOT of crap on the road.I would go as far as a 11/25 with your compact, but that depends on yourself. I just find that spinning up the hills on day 3 helps!ENJOY the race, dis MOERSE fun!
