  1. Joe Low, weren't you doing the "Twist and Shout" after finding the floor polished?
  2. 1hill, there is a difference in stiffness. Saw that the other day when comparing a pair of nylon soled to carbon soled shoes (twisting the shoe).
  3. Pay the extra for the 105.
  4. Thanks ML. Think I'll get myself an offroad type GPS if I want the auto routing thing. As for the newer GPS', heard a rumour about the pricing and got the fright of my life. So Polar it'll stay, for now.
  5. Which is actually sad as the Catlike's are EXCELLENT helmets.
  6. Kranswurm, there is no distributor in SA. You'll have to import or get another type of helmet.
  7. Muds, so I can ride my 12-27 Shimano on my Campy grouppo when doing the Panorama. Will the Campy Ultra Narrow g/set not give hassles?
  8. Mountain Lion, that auto routing and even routing is the one. I couldn't set up a new route on the PC and then transfer it to my Garmin. E.g. I couldn't say go from Modderfontein, turn left on Piet Snot street and then right in Sannie Suicide, etc, etc and then have the thing "direct" me according to the route. As for tracking WHERE i've gone (Google Maps), that I do with my phone.
  9. The BB- and paintball gun cartridges are smaller however (the ones I've seen). So instead of using one bomb, you'll use on and a half, which is a bit of a mess. If you do find 16g, please let me know though!!!
  10. Edman, there is a HUGE difference going from the S-series to the CS series. The new software's functions really compliment the new CS series functions.
  11. I prefer the Polar. Got the new CS600 which is a great tool. I have tested the Garmin and found it bulky and the software (compared to the standard Polar software) lacking. Some people used 3rd party software for the garmin though. The 305 doesn't allow for route tracking, etc. In the end it is your choice, I just prefer the Polar products.
  12. The cups can be the size of a training bra, the rest about a 58
  13. We are dispensing advice on weight reduction at the moment. Ewep is a guy for those of you who are not in the know. He has a weight problem so much so that he has to wear a sports bra when cycling. Marc I know that we may be slightly off the topic but his problems are far greater than Silaboys. make sure he gets a minimiser bra then' date=' not the standard sports bra. too much movement (it's late for me, time to get silly-sorry) [/quote'] Minimiser won't help. The damn bra doesn't fit around my BOEP!
  14. MM, get on your Shimano bike and RIDE!
  15. twice a day!
  16. 2 weeks -> 2 kgs! You better watch out...... If I drop to 80 I'm gonna keep up with you on the climbs!
  17. Just a tad. So did you crawl around on the floor as well after the "exchange"?
  18. Agree MuX. VO2Max does NOTHING for me either. Maybe the pros alviolia are more receptable to the "drugs", who knows, but it did NOTHING for me. Another question, what do you want out of a supplement? I want to loose weight, but if MuXie uses the same supplements I do he'll fall through his own @ss!! So this is a very, errm, open question.
  19. Spidey, depends. Methyolate is NOT fun for bad road rash. I try to stay away from that crap, BAD memories. Ask anyone that "armied" about Methyolate and blisters.
  20. Hot Stuff, please remember that you are covered for racing as well. You will also be covered if your bike is locked on your bike rack, which the other insurers don't do. I had 2 bikes and it worked out to about R480 for both (includes extras). The policy stated that only 1 bike would be out of the "house" at a time, and this made the policy cheaper. So, bottom line, you get what you pay for. Up to now I could not fault Cyclesure, except maybe for a "unfriendly" assessor.
  21. BB, gonna hijack your thread here!!! Johan, I read in a brochure about some or the other "special lubrication" that's added in the cable housing of road bike. Does this help at all or is it a gimmick?
  22. Oi, SM, PM jou boet!!!! Hou op om my thread te hijack!!! Dankie CP, ek sal so maak.
  23. CP, all is well with the hijack, but I won't be going to Pta. I want to ride around home and then spend some time with the family. If I join you guys I'll only get back between 12 and 1 and that's not on.
