To me it looks like one company did a comparison chart against a competitor but did not represent that competitors product spec correctly and then distributed this comparison chart to retailers when both companies COMPETE in the same market. That could be viewed as false advertising which is not exactly legal either... ? this seems to be a big compnay flexing it's muscle and threatening to start a price war (which would be nice for consumers) in order to make his competitor hurt (thats competition..) ? Perhaps not?a very?nice thing to say?but it's certainly not Anti-Competitive as it's one distributor facing off against another. the consumer wins. ? Brandon may as well have said, "Zoon, I don't like you, you smell bad, I'm buying your company." ? ? lastly, I don't think Brandon made himself out to be honourable by posting his companies stance on the alledged price fixing fiasco. He merely made a position statement. that has little to do with integrity, and a lot to do with Probikes stand on competition amongst it's retailers. Thanks GoLefty - I suppose the anti-competitive behavior in a price war would be where you intend selling below cost to wipe out a competitor and thereafter raise prices to higher than it was before?
